Portable Ops has MGS2/MGS3 caliber graphics. Unless I'm forgetting
something crucial, there's no way he gets a legitimate sprite from that. Big Boss' actual sprite is from the same games Snake gets his - only he wears a funny red hat! ...oh. I wouldn't be at all surprised if L-Block leads the whole damn poll
for a while. Kratos ain't weak, but he's a casual-friendly character. Yeah, the first hour should be more "static" than other hours are. But in the end the impact of the first hour is pretty diluted. I think L-Block will do good in that match though. Actually Ganon coming in could very well make Mudkip look better. I really think that Magus would have beaten Big Boss without that
picture. Last time we saw Big Boss he was high end fodder*. There's no
way I could see Magus dropping that low. *On the fodder line at best if you want to argue for Samus not being adjusted up enough. --- "Look out-- It's Liquids and Gases!" |

look at L-Block's trends -- they're the same as Bidoof's. I know you
like ol' L and all, but it's definitely a "joke vote". it's no more
"legitimate" than voting a random ugly pokemon. L-Block did follow joke/heavy board favorite trends. But his strength is not joke character level. And Bidoof is more extreme of a joke trend, as L-Block went down 8 points while Bidoof went down 12, but L-Block started much higher. You know, you can argue the possibility
for Big Boss being SFFed or just plain increasing, not to mention MGS
doing better in this format. Look how much ass he kicked in the
previous round too, doing so much better on Mario/Wander/Pac-Man than
he was supposed to on Mario alone. http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/356/fmsx0078xq6.jpg why --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

King Morgoth's x-stats for Big Boss in round 1 work out to about 22% (if you give Mario 40%). I can't tell if this is good or bad from Link. The numbers are meh, but
if Bidoof really has strength then last round, as well as this one,

There is nothing good about this performance from Link. Sure, Vincent
is sucking too but he isn't the one who is going against the

Mudkip beating out Luigi would suck, but I actually think
Luigi>Mudkip>Ganon would be very entertaining :) I wouldn't mind
seeing that. Though, I think it's pretty much impossible for that to

Don't forget Vergil. Being the only real character there might be
enough to net him 23-24%. He may not have managed that last round, but
he was being LFFed by Ratchet and maybe Thrall. If he can get that

Link is facing Vincent, one of the higher tier characters, a joke who's stuffed to be on par with Vincent, and Zelda, who would beat Kefka at the least. 43%-44% right now on two characters of Vincents strength alone is impressive. --- If you fail at life you try suicide. Wow... Bidoof. At this point in Round 1 Bidoof had... 21.29% of the
vote. Currently Bidoof has... 23.15% of the vote. Also, Bidoof lost
about 1.3% in the last hour of today's poll, while in Round 1 Bidoof
lost 1.6% between hours 1 and 2. Uh-oh, Bidoof might do better with the
day vote, too, hm? Anyway, I need to bring another thing up as to explain Bidoof's success: there might be lots of voters that are catching on to this fad of voting for joke (Pokemon) characters this time around. Bidoof was the first joke character (CATS aside) to appear in the contest. Also, I love how Zelda's doing so poorly. I hope it at least gives Ganondorf a little more respect now. --- "Ah, a party! Vincent's doing great here. Link's slowing down, which is a bit
disappointing but nothing to really worry about. I don't put any stock
into matches with joke characters, especially when something crazy
