Looks like Midna LFF probably hurt Samus too. Makes her look somewhat better than before. I don't think so actually. Yeah. For the DS, IIRC. Wow. What's it called? Snake was looking much better in 2k5, though. And 2k6 was Sonic's best year ever. Yeah, I guess it wasn't quite the darkest time for Snake, but he certainly didn't look like he could challenge the other powers until the Brawl thing. Getting smacked around by Mega was about the best he could hope for :) Also Sonic was stronger (relative to other characters) in 2K2 than in 2K6 I think, though of course 2K2 is more different than any other year. and I've always thought of Tidus as a bit of a fraud. 2002 is just, as
creative said, different. 2003 was Square's year -- put Vivi in his
spot and I think he might have beaten Magus. I really wish Vivi was in
2k3 because he could have been a beast with that massive Square boost.
I think that's more a demographic shift than "KHF", though KH obviously

Okay, good point. Mario is looking worse in relation to Big Boss, but
keep in mind Mario is managing 46-47% by the end, despite Big Boss
obviously overperforming by a huge amount. If Big Boss had his R1
picture Mario would probably have 49% of the vote, only 8% short of
last round... thing is, Wander and SFFed Pac-Man are replaced by Magus

I think that's more a demographic shift than "KHF", though KH obviously had a big effect too. Obviously NOT! Seriously I never will understand why KHF was so accepted for what happened that year. And as for the Alucard defensiveness: Ganondorf (2003c) VS Alucard (2003c) Ganondorf has a strength of 34.72. Alucard has a strength of 27.56. Ganondorf wins with 60.31% of the vote! A win of 22,765 with 110,391 total votes cast. http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=1719 Even assuming Ganondorf hadn't boosted at ALL (lol TP hype) this would have set off bells if we hadn't all assumed Sephiroth overperformed on Alucard for some reason --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. Sephiroth is my bishie I also like how last round Big Boss scored more against Mario/Pac/Wander than he was supposed to against Mario alone. why oh why did he get this picture my upset lacks luster now yay hindsight --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. this is far from a normal circumstance, I don't think you can even
compare it to most match picture arguments. the only time pictures
*truly* matter is if you can't tell who it is -- in this case, it's
basically an entirely different character. this isn't like Crono
getting a sprite or Zelda getting that child OOT art. it's something

Even assuming Ganondorf hadn't boosted at ALL (lol TP hype) this
would have set off bells if we hadn't all assumed Sephiroth
overperformed on Alucard for some reason I don't know what you mean by "Alucard defensiveness", or what you're actually going for here, but if you're trying to say that Alucard overperforming by 3 points means something, I would disagree. 3 points isn't much. hmph. well, that's what i get for not paying as close attention as i used to. either way, i hope this match has finally silenced the match pic factor critics. Solid **** pretty much decisively ended that debate years ago. And Tifa/Samus was also pretty definitive if you needed a 2nd definitive proof. There was also I Feel Asleep, yet another virtually definitive instance. And lesser things like Face CATS as well. Okay, Sonic has got to get a boost from this. I know the board's not a good indicator, but this news is everywhere. This thing is an event.
We'll know more after his next match, of course, but for now I think
he's back to being a lock for the finals...and then a lock for last
place during them. (Brawlfear won't help Sonic much against Snake and

Man, Magus never seems to catch a break here -- under 18% and losing by
over 7500 votes. Even with the possibility that he would have beaten
Big Boss with a different picture, BB would have still kept it

Even with the possibility that he would have beaten Big Boss with a
different picture, BB would have still kept it competitive. what The Oracle seemed pretty evenly split before the Naked Snake picture. I considered this match a toss-up since last round. The pic made Big Boss the favorite. X-stats wise, Magus looks like he'll finish around 20%, while in the first round Big Boss looked to be around 22%. Well...tomorrow's match is bound to get the hype trains going at full steam. If Vincent does really well on Link (which is possible with Zelda and Bidoof in that poll) then the Vincent > Crono will pick full steam. Man does Bidoof steal the show in whatever picture hes in. Its pretty
much impossible not to notice him. I fear for the Ganondorf > Mudkip
