This is an excellent performance from Shadow. He's right where I pegged
him now, and once the Sonic day vote hits, he should at least be able

No way, there are too many strong day vote characters in this match for the weakest of them to benefit that much. bubububububububububuububut 45% on MARIO in the most legitimate match in contest history. Samus was the first option in the choices, therefore casual bracketmakers (who didn't know the importance of first and second placement) picked her in first inadvertently. If Ryu wins this easily, I will be 100% committed to the idea that
people are simply voting differently in this contest. There's no chance
in hell that Ryu beats Bowser in a rematch, and Bowser doesn't have the
"split votes" argument to fall back on in this match, especially with

Heh, Bowser should keep this even for a while, but Ryu should dominate come night time. How much he dominates will be the difference between him advancing, and Bowser kicking his weak-day-vote ass. Ryu's night vote is scary, and Bowser isn't the day vote threat that
some other Nintendo characters are. This thing will look awfully ugly

Ryu won't need 2000 votes. I'd feel good with a 1000 vote lead,
personally... well, 1500 to be sure. but 1000 and I'd say Ryu's the
