But a lot of the people voting for Kefka would most certainly switch their votes to cloud if say Vercetti took Kefka's spot. Different voters have different allegiances. Hmm... Ocelot outstripping Kefka's lead at this point, and he should be
more consistent (Kefka is WAY more front-loaded than just about anyone
not named Phoenix Wright/L-Block). Now that being said, Marcus' day vote being 'diluted' by Cloud seems like wishful thinking. The only 'dilution' will come from Ocelot being better than Kefka in the day. And again *checks* he's just not staying consistent right now. --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

People who would vote for an equal strength character from a

You still just dont get it; youd think after the whole board got embarrassed with the Bowser and Riku picks that they'd start to understand how LFF works. Since I got both of those matches correct in my bracket, why would I be embarrassed? The big beneficiaries of Cloud and Kefka SFF are the other two in the poll, obviously. However, you're mistaken if you think Cloud isn't benefiting from the fact that Kefka is weak competition due to sharing a similar (though not exactly the same) fanbase. I think we're talking about something totally different, because it was obvious that Vaan being in the match would hurt Rikku. Likewise it is clear that Arthas killed Diablo's chances against KOS-MOS. I'm not debating either of those things - I'm saying that Kefka is so weak that the chance of him drawing votes from Cloud is very low, while the chance of Cloud siphoning from Kefka is commensurately high. If Ocelot gets 2000 he'll be a good favorite at that point. There's WAY less votes for these guys to work with than last time. That being said, he looks about done. We're entering the true night now and he's letting Kefka consistently gain on him. It may be slow, and they may both be extending their leads on Fenix, but it's just not near fast enough (not to mention there's almost zero reason to expect Fenix not to catch Kefka here). --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

| Not really. Most expect Cloud to land somewhere in
the low 50's, and I can't see him going any higher than 54%. You have
to remember, as Kefka drops with the day vote, most of that percentage

That said, I think this will be a pissing match between him and Link.
Link should be able to break 50% though, depending on whether or not

Unless voters are idiots that get confused on Link and Zelda because of
their names, Link not breaking 50% would be a massive shock. The man

The lead between Kefka/Marcus in their previous match and Ocelot/Marcus
now looks to be growing at the same pace. The lead at this time in the

| Well, since this is a weekend match, the turnaround shouldn't be quite as severe. I just don't think Ocelot is pulling away enough though, considering that the day vote will likely go from 8am or so to the end of the match with no respite. |
