Yeah, Mega Man should be good to finish pretty high here. Though I
think you have to assume there's potential SFF here (compare how he'll
finish here to freakin' Arthas/Diablo/KOS-MOS), it's impressive nonetheless. --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

Yeah, you see? It only took three or four minutes for Yoshi to drop like a rock. It's a damn good thing I didn't say "lol Yoshi SFF". Boy, would that have been embarrassing. |

I think Sub-Zero > Squalll is more likely than Squall > Sonic. This happened in 2k5, where Mega Man uber impressed and Sonic bombed but they ended up even. It happened again when everyone was calling for Mega Man's head and Sonic got his first win over a NNer, and they turned out equal. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again. I don't know why people thought Mega could SFF Yoshi but not Knuckles.
This isn't the Genesis/SNES war days, Sonic and Mario ain't all that
seperate anymore. Heck they're even going to the Olympics together or

gah, I knew people would start talking MM up. he's in a SFF match that
benefits him, of course he's going to look good. that's not to say he
can't beat Samus -- he certainly can -- but don't judge it based on

Meh, two other third party characters are going to be in Since when was this confirmed? As much as I've EVER heard, it's never been mentioned as more than a 'possibility'... --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

advancing the next round. I guess I was thinking that Yoshi would hurt

MM, Sonic and Bomberman are probably the front runners for getting in
Smash. Though I can see Sonic and Bomberman before MM due to how much
Sega and Hudson have been contributing to the VC and Nintendo in
general. Then again, MM has done more for Nintendo than Solid Snake

Since when was this confirmed? As much as I've EVER heard, it's never been mentioned as more than a 'possibility'... I clearly remember Sakurai saying at one point that we'd be seeing two or three other third party characters (or maybe it was two or three including Snake?). But it might've been on the old site...probably around the time of those polls he did about third party characters (in which Sora dominated). --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |

Even if this is SFF...well, being good with SFF is half your power in this contest. Mega Man > Samus began as *my* upset, and Lord help me I have Mega Man > Samus in my bracket... but this shouldn't be indication of much. Getting SFF on lower-tier Ninty characters is different from Samus... as incapable of SFF as she is. Of course, Yoshi being there complicates matters... --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

I didn't consider MM > Samus next round because I had Knux there, but I do have MM advancing with Cloud due to Bowser. Now watch Auron advance there and Samus and MM advance leaving Cloud behind. like expected. MM's best time is right now too, and he's going to
suffer when Yoshi and Knuckles get going. MM loves disappointing like

Well, if you think about it, Yoshi would have to hurt Samus quite a bit
more than Mega Man in order for it to happen. I'l wait to see how she

If Sonic's gonna be in Brawl, I doubt that Nintendo would spill the
beans before the game's released. They would probably want everyone to
be surprised when they find him themselves. Or they take the ****ing awesome route and put him and Tails in, but make them so hard to find that it will take until the April edition of EGM to reveal them. --- "Look out-- It's Liquids and Gases!" |

It's still pretty early in the match, but I wonder if this could turn
out to be the first indication that SFF can, indeed, beat out LFF and
benefit the stronger character? If there wasn't LFF here, KOS-MOS would be under 10%.
