| Hm. This is probably just a continuation of the poor sonic performances and strong fighter performances we've seen, but it is interesting that Auron, Master Chief and now Subs have all impressed beyond most expectations. Makes me wonder a bit about that Auron/Crono match. |

I don't know... Subby seems like a character who would also benefit
from this format, but who knows really. It's just a guess/feeling more
than anything. I don't think he'd be helped as much as MC, but then
again MC isn't as strong as him 1v1 (at least he wasn't last year, now
that Halo 3 is out... oh baby, believe!) Anyway, look at Subby's competition, it only makes sense for him to go down in the day, and Sonic to rise, granted we haven't seen the night vote yet, so he could be significantly higher than he is right now, though I doubt it'll be that much better. Eh, yeah, I expect Sub-Zero and all fighting game characters to be
strong in this format. They've just got the kinda fanbase for it. I'm
not really ringing the Sonic doom alarms here... this is about what I

Well, Sonic's performance is just flat-out worse than all the other
Nobles we've seen. Granted, he's up against much stronger competition,
but the thing is that Sub-Zero's kicking some SERIOUS ass as well,
rather than the percentages being distributed much more evenly. The
upset rumbling is only natural, especially in this format... --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

| I don't think this is really that bad for Sonic.
this match is pretty expected. I thought this would be one of those
40-30-20-10 matches and so far, it looks like that, just with Sub a
couple points higher and POP a couple lower. Sonic may end up at 42 or something percent with the afterschool vote, too - who in this bunch is good overnight? Scorpion was really impressive now that I think about it. Midna isn't
pure fodder, she did beat Kratos Aurion after all who most agree is at
least slightly above the fodder line. Yet, Scorpion beat Midna with
over 10%. Considering Sub-Zero himself is stronger than Scorpion...

possibly miss FOUR straight matches after that. Midna's a gone, and so
are Jill and Peach. Between those matches, I have Bowser>Auron,

| I wouldn't expect Sonic to gain too much with the day vote in this match. PoP took it from Kirby, and Sub Zero held up decently against Master Chief. Joe is certainly going to die in the day though. |

So.... what are the chances some people fall off the leaderboard today? The people near the top have too much of a lead to fall off even if they only score two points. If you're on the lower half and score 2 points, you'll probably fall off since everyone around you is scoring 4 points. Sonic was a lock for first and Sub-Zero the heavy favorite for second. It wouldn't be impossible for no one to fall off the Top 50, but it'll probably be closer to 2 or 3. --- "Those whose memories fade seek to carve them in their hearts..." Fortunately my Round 2 doesn't look too bad after the first 2 matches.
I have Marcus, Leon > Pikachu, Kratos > Kirby and Sephy > Fox
which should give me some advantage over the average B8er. And the only
ones I'm guarenteed to lose points on (Samus > Scorps and probably
Snake > Ryu) are enough of an upset that I shouldn't lose too much
