Ike is just a beast with the morning vote, if he can do this well during the ASV, he should have no problem getting 1st or 2nd. --- Proud Supporter of Solid Snake, Dante and Ryu. Alt Account of someone who is lame and stupid |

I tend to follow the morning vote by seeing the night vote character
stall. in this case, it's Guybrush, and Guybrush started to slow down a
little while ago. --- ZFStix: nin nin nin ima ninja!!! nin nin nin XD ZFStix: kill it |

The morning vote and the after school vote aren't always the same
though. Ike seems more the type to get the morning vote whereas Duke
and Gordon could still own him with the after school vote. And yeah,
it's only two updates, chill out kids. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

It's mostly coming at the expense of Gordon, too. If Gordon fails to rank, this is the funniest match ever. --- Currently Playing: Wild Arms 3, Persona 3 |

If Ike's voting trends are anything like Ness's he's not necessarily
taking the ASV even if he dominates the morning. He'd better take the
lead before this wears off if he wants a good chance, methinks. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

I was actually using his other matches, not the one in this contest. Go
look at them. Ness makes his huge % moves in the morning. You're not
gonna tell me they all occured on weekends. Morning vote and the ASV are not always the same. X-Box characters for instance are nothing special in the morning. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |
JustForFun1988 | Posted 10/3/2007 3:37:05 AM | message detail |
I don't see how we can compare Ike and Ness here, there is no ASV for Ness in his match. --- Proud Supporter of Solid Snake, Dante and Ryu. Alt Account of someone who is lame and stupid |

Pretty sure 2k5 or 2k4 started in August. In any case: X-Box, nuff said. There's often a correlation between the two, but it's not a lock for him to take it. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

what are you using there, the Mario match? the first match was right in
July, since it was the second match of the contest. 2k4 and prior
started early in the summer. --- ZFStix: nin nin nin ima ninja!!! nin nin nin XD ZFStix: kill it |

See, the problem is that Ike could get the ASV by default in this
match, as Gordon and Duke aren't exactly likely candidates to do
anything with it. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Actually 2004 started August 1st. 2005 started July 17th. Which admittedly doesn't make his CJ match worth looking at. The others are all good though. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

2004 started August 1? huh. regardless, the only match you could take
as a school day is the Auron match, and he increased a small bit on
Auron in the daytime, too. plus, that's 2004 data. god knows how reliable it is. Crono went even with Mario in the day in 2004. --- ZFStix: nin nin nin ima ninja!!! nin nin nin XD ZFStix: kill it |

There is indeed day vote during weekend, however you are comparing the
ASV of Ness and Ike here. If we are talking about Ness in this year
contest, there is no ASV for him. --- Proud Supporter of Solid Snake, Dante and Ryu. Alt Account of someone who is lame and stupid |

Heh, two comebacks happening at the same time. AROUND THE STARS! --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |
Lopen | Posted 10/3/2007 3:53:01 AM | message detail |
Sure but all that happens on the weekend is that the ASV gets spread out a bit more throughout the day. Ness made no move at all during the day, it was all morning. If he would've made a move during an ASV he would've cut during the day at a slower rate. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

looking at other morning trends, Sora stopped gaining at 8:15. if this
holds up, I'd expect this to go back to night trends (only with more
votes) until 3pm or so. Duke and Gordon *should* be able to build out
their lead again.. don't know if it's enough, or if Ike will even take
the afterschool vote as decisively. --- ZFStix: nin nin nin ima ninja!!! nin nin nin XD ZFStix: kill it |

with those two, nobody has any idea how the trends are going to go.
Duke could win this morning vote or he could flop; same goes for
Gordon. the only thing we can deduct is that Ike is a day vote guy and
is going to suffer once the morning vote completely wears off. whether
or not he has enough to make a comeback, who knows. it depends on what
happens during these odd hours. --- ZFStix: nin nin nin ima ninja!!! nin nin nin XD ZFStix: kill it |
