I think Daxter's low percentage is a result of Wesker being stronger
than most of us gave him credit for. A lot had Daxter at 10% with

I figured more Daxter votes would take more away from Lara. So that
could certainly be something in Lara's favor if Daxter performs

Like I said earlier, you have to remember that 2 of Ryu's opponents are
from the same game. Had it been say... Jak in Roxas' place, Riku and

The more I think about this the more it seems as if Lara is screwed. We
know all about Sora's epic and somewhat ridiculous KH day vote. But KH

Yeah, I have no idea where the "Sora is sucking" stuff is coming from.
40% already with the entire day vote to look forward to is going to put
around expectations -- or at least reasonable expectations. Not sure
what people were expecting for this performance to be poor. --- let's mosey |

I think Sora's doing pretty well for this voting block. He's already over 40%. In fact, I'm going to drop my "FF is dying" schtick for a minute and say Squall did pretty good too. Because anyone who can collect over a third of the votes in this format is not too shabby. (And also because if he is weaker this year, Akuma's gonna look really bad when all's said and done.) You can bet I'll be right back here beating that dead horse again next round, though. |

We have yet to see day votes 'usurped' by characters in this format,
and this match looks to be no different. Lara should gain impressively
on Wesker in the day, and if she's stalling him effectively now during
the night vote, it looks very good for her. That being said, it's rather embarrassing that she's in this position in the first place to many, but that's the way the brackets crumble! --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

This match is funny. Wesker makes a 20 vote gain, and then Lara makes a 4 vote cut. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

KH has swung into full on casual vote mode I believe. Yeah, she's got to deal with 2 other casuals there. Sora is going to pwn the casual day vote, and we ALL know Daxter is the king of the sleeping kiddies, so Lara's day train might be carrying only a small fraction of the passengers that it would in a normal match against a night owl. Sora is about where I expected him to be. Same with Lara. Daxter is just sucking while Wesker is doing well. I can't see how anyone can call Sora's performance right now bad. o.O ~~~ Ashe. What is Lara but a Crash with bewbs. The only reason I took her was
because it looked like last year they managed to turn the series around
to respectability, but I still don't think this signifies an uber

IMO, Jak is the only uber fodder here. Lara is a very casual name simply because for awhile Tomb Raider was one of the biggest games around. It even got it's own movie, WITH ANGELINA JOLIE IN HER HOT DAYS NO LESS! Wesker has a dedicated fanbase. He is a reoccuring character and shows up briefly in a game many call one of the best of the previous generation. He also gets the night vote and board vote in this 4 pack And lastly, we all know Sora dominates during the day and gets anti voted at night. Oh, and of course, Hayabusa is now like definitively favored over Riku
next round. He outdid the combined forces of the Kingdom Hearts army. Yet...just watch this contest give us yet another SWERVE~! and Riku beats out Hayabusa! :) I would consider that the "indecisive KH fan multiplied by ninja factor" - "[Looks at poll] Oh no...*both* Riku and Roxas!?
