like he's going to be dropping like a rock through it. --- Moltar Status: The Analysis Crew...believe DK/Kratos/Marth/Prince- Bracket: Kratos > DK - Vote: DK (83/100) |

SSB generally doesn't do too well with the morning vote though, and
still does great with the afterschool vote. Falcon barely cut Crono's
percentage in the morning, but still made big gains during the
afterschool (and, oddly enough, made steady, small, cuts in the during
school period, just as in the morning). Kirby didn't gain percentage at
all against Bowser in the morning, but was able to go 50-50 with him in
the afterschool. Then there's the SMB/SSB match, which wasn't on a
school day- but had rather strange trends in that SMB slowly climbed
until about 10 AM- and then dropped for the rest of the match. DK is
the opposite, in that he generally does good with the morning and
horrible with the afterschool- his percentage did not peak until 8 AM
Eastern against MC, his vote lead peaked at about 11 AM, and after 2 PM
he went into freefall for the rest of the match. I'm not sure, but I
don't think Duck Hunt made any gains on DK in the morning either. That
said, DK's lead right now is just too big for Marth to come back, but
I'd say he has a good chance of ending it with the vote lead smaller
than it currently is. --- Character Battle VI -- Points: 71/100 -- T-723 (219 way) Bracket: Kratos > Marth -- Vote: Marth |

Let's see how he does with the after school vote. Judging by his
morning vote performance, I doubt he'll win it, but this contest has
been too unpredictable for me to bet anything on that. Regardless, this
makes Alucard and Ryu look even worse when the sun is shining. --- yoblazer33: NO LIMITZ Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

Man, Kratos is really doing a number on these schooling hours. That,
coupled with his relatively weak Power Hour performances, tells me that
he'll be giving up some noticeable percentage during the after school.
If Kirby isn't too handicapped by DK, it could be an excellent
back-and-forth match between the two. --- yoblazer33: NO LIMITZ Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

It isn't DK that's making me feel less confident in Kirby, it's the
L-block. Kirby/DK/Kratos would be a close match between Kirby and
Kratos, but it seems as though L-block took most of his support away
from Kirby last round. Kratos is looking extremely good for round 2,
and has a decent shot at round 3. I still don't think Snake/Riku are
going to cripple him that much. TuRtLe ~~~ 75/100 in the contest. Next pick: Kratos > DK BlAcK TuRtLe. The cream of Zero fanboyism |

Kratos have no chance at all in round 3. If you don't think that Solid
Snake will steal votes away from him, then you are crazy. Kirby is a
lock in round 3, but round 2 could be interesting. There ARE more people
who prefer Kirby over DK than Marth over DK, but Kratos is doing really
good today IMO >_> --- Ngamer64: Zylo, you're making less sense every day. Proud supporter of Knuckles and Magus in Character Battle VI |

YoAriel33 | Posted 9/28/2007 11:37:26 AM | message detail |
A genre contest would have, what, a max of sixteen entrants? I think
RPG, Adventure, and Action would slaughter everything, but those last
two are pretty damn vague. Personally, I feel that contest would suck. Also, it's tough to see how the L-Block is a bigger liability to Kirby than Donkey Kong. We know there's a strong Kirby/DK correlation, but we only have speculation with regards to Kirby/L-Block. Let's look at it this way: the L-Block put up 31% on Kirby. Let's now replace Kirby with Kratos; how much worse does the block really do? Could it do even better? We have no clue. |

I'm still a proponent that L-Block is going to go onto Round Three. I think that it's entered into a Starcraft like scenerio. Now that people know L-Block's strong, the rallying effort is only going to increase over the next few rounds. Hell, this thing gets on 4-Chan L-Block could challenge Kratos. Plus, with DK/Kirby SFF I think that'd pull enough votes away from Kirby to push L-Block ahead of him. |
