I'd definitely expect L-Blocks best time to be during the night, which
should also be Kirby's worst time... if he can minimize the bleeding
for the first hour, or a little more, I think he could potentially grab

If L-block doesn't completely fall apart soon, I'm going to actually have to agree with bt. Even if it miraculously managed to not completely fall apart as the match went on, I still wouldn't even consider that one. Even if it miraculously managed to not completely fall apart as the match went on, I still wouldn't even consider that one. Even falling apart, it still will finish with enough for me to consider the possibility. Tidus isn't exactly a powerhouse. --- sig |

I love how the consensus seems to be "L-Block > Raiden." My, how our expectations change! =P It helps that Midna and Balthier only draw support from what turned out to be overestimated fanbases. Especially with MGS4 actually being on the horizon still, I wouldn't hesitate to take Raiden over the other two there. OOOH MY GOD....wow wow wow. Just checked the results a minute ago after
voting for L-Block. Couldn't believe it. Easily the most shocking thing
of the contest so far. I mean, easily. And I was one of the bigger L-Block supporters. Anyone else think that if this was a classic pic, L-Block would be ahead right now? Well, Kirby's a much more well-known character that's been around for
generations and has successfully tapped into two big series from the
site's favorite company...as opposed to Tidus being well-known although
not so recognizable outside of FFX (except KH, maybe?) when Square is
now #2 here. Throw in the fact that Kirby beat Tidus 58-42 in 2k5 and
the idea that Kirby could be stronger this year while Tidus has lost
heartily to Pikachu already, too. While we're at it, Tidus gets more
hate-votes than Kirby... ...all that said, no way am I taking L-Block > Tidus head-to-head. That's crazy-talk, although admittedly awesome. It's not like L-Block would get embarrassed though, which in turn embarrasses Tidus even moreso. Oh, hey, somebody should let Slowflake know that L-Block has arguably been the highlight of the contest so far. Why are people concerned for Kirby because of this? I don't think this means much for that at all. I think DK (or Marth) being there to siphon votes from Kirby means a lot more. I don't think this is Kirby weakness at all. Not sure, but I think L-Block could beat Marcus Fenix. creative, did you see the first 20 minutes of the match? You think the results NOW are epic... I think most people would take Yoshi > Kirby, Yoshi tripled Laharl
in 2k5, Laharl has Disgaea 2 last year, and people theorized that this
format would help Laharl...yet Kirby is still clearly doing more than
doubling Laharl right now. It doesn't hurt that Nathan's slowly dying a
painful death in front of us, though we knew he'd be weak anyway. I
don't see this as a weakness to Kirby...I won't say this is ALL L-Block
right now and we need to let the match finish, but it's hard to blame

While it's hard to assume anything when we've yet to see God of War II's effect, I really doubt Kratos would be doing much better (if better at all) right now. Does anyone really see him chilling comfortably in the 40's? You also have to remember, Kirby and Tetris are both Gameboy must-owns. It seems every SFF match Kirby has is close. What do you think Kirby gets on Link? Yeah... I'm not quite sure why L-Block > Tidus would be so crazy.
Kirby kicked Tidus' ass. Tidus will have only grown weaker since 2K5 if
anything, and Kirby would have gotten stronger if anything. I'm not
saying either has, but for the sake of the argument, Kirby is pretty
much guaranteed to beat Tidus just as hard as he did two years ago, if
not harder. If L-Block can keep it close with Kirby (like where it is now), I'd actually take L-Block > Tidus myself. L-Block is more than likely going to continue to drop significantly, and depending on how much he does, I don't know who I'd take in that match. --- Explicit Content. I wish Lei Fang were my mom. many cult characters have we seen actually impress? If anything, they
