MvC was a great game. Too bad it's popularity completely died. I wonder if it'll be released on Live Arcade or anything like that ever. Considering FF's track record the past two matches, I totally expect Vivi to bomb and Ridley to take second. The wrong surprise to foresee, I think. Spyro might beat Ridley (Ridley has no shot at Vivi), and Vivi might take 1st. I don't know, I think DK still has a great shot at taking that one. Or maybe they can claim the award together if he loses to Marth? Marth beating out DK is possible (unlikely, but it wouldn't shock me). I see Marth's strength close to or just over 20%. I don't really think DK could SFF Marth, Marth doesn't strike me as the type to be SFFed by DK - his character design is too appealing. I see that as more of a split. I'm still loving this result. Go Pikachu! Actually, I do like Tidus better... but, whatever. Better luck next time, Tidus. Hey...um... it might be possible that Tidus hasn't fallen further from grace. If you take his 2K4 value (20XX-adjusted) and place it against Isaac 2K3 (who might have been underrated at the time), Tidus wins with 65.58%. Tidus is beating Isaac with 64.33% if it was one-on-one here, but usually the losers seem to overperform in this format, so a 1v1 match might have a little larger spread (and Serge could be hurting Tidus). So, Tidus doesn't look so bad, if you can accept Pikachu being close to Mewtwo's level (not too Farfetch'd, I guess). Has there ever been two major upsets in a row in a contest (as far as Board 8 is concerned)? I can't think of any instance. First Ada, and now Pikachu... tomorrow...uh, Ridley getting second! (Vivi getting first would be too expected) --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

*Doesn't read much of Page 2* Wait, Samus in 2004 managed to get 40% against Cloud? And she nearly lost to Tifa 2 years later?... And that was proof against ZSS how? I mean, is it because people assumed there to be only one Samus and not two (similar to how there are multiple Raidens)? Or that everyone is obsessed with the internet as we are (though Snake's overperformance contradicts this)? Oh, forget it. Besides, the pic factor only applies in such exceptional cases...unless you think the Bowser nearly killing Snake in 2005 dropped a LOT by 2006- *Checks X-stats* ...Okay, what happened? Though I still can't see Samus w/Zss as the same w/out it. Oh, and Ridley>Spyro. Sony platformers are mostly dead in these things. --- VIVA LA REVOLU-er, Wii!! The wrong surprise to foresee, I think. Spyro might beat Ridley (Ridley has no shot at Vivi), and Vivi might take 1st. I wouldn't count on it. If anything, Vivi shouldn't be at his previous level. On the other hand, if Ada is any indication, Leon will be as strong as ever. And he was a lot stronger than Vivi ever was last year. --- 69/88. Today : Tidus > Pikachu. All we need is for Ridley to surprise and take second, and this division is made of awesome. Matt bombing? Amaterasu advancing? Ada beating Balthier, and making him look pathetic? Pikachu beating Tidus? Isaac beating Serge(I expected this, but many didn't apparently. It's awesome.)? I mean MP3 just came out in America, and he has the ONCF to help him a bit. Vivi should be weaker than he was in 2005, and Ridley should be stronger. Depends on the BMF. But if he's Zidane's strength, good night. And also, Pikachu is probably losing as many votes to Isaac as Tidus is to Serge, when you think about it. I don't know about you guys...but I'm getting slightly worried, because
I can't see THAT many of the current Pikachu voters choosing Vivi/Leon
(I'm feeling Pikachu getting around 24-27%), and beyond that, Dante/Ada
over the yellow rat. >_> And if Pikachu does make it to the division finals, assuming Leon comes with him, I'd take him as a safely for second --- And if we armed them all with two swords, we'd have four times the votes! |

| The damned rat won't get past Vivi. This is what I expected from Ness, but he was up against stronger, much more liked competition. Put Ness in here and I'll bet my bottom dollar that he'd be leading, and Ness wouldn't beat Vivi. Pikachu will fold against likable competition. |
