Vivi beats him with Tidus in the poll? Tidus and Vivi are close enough in last years stats that even if Tidus has dropped off considerably, Pikachu has more than enough to pull of my sexy upset. So far 3 of my dark horses are looking to go as far as I have them. Soon we'll see if Kratos can finish the fight, and I'll reserve judgement on Zero until I see him against Crono. Serge's percentage is skyrocketing here. ...yeah, I think Serge is hurting Tidus by a good amount. no real reason to think that, but I think without him, Tidus beats Pikachu. it'll be the same thing next round - god knows Tidus will hurt Vivi more than Serge hurts Vivi. the question will be if Vivi is an overwhelming favourite compared to Tidus or not - Tidus has NEVER shown himself good with SFF, so maybe Vivi can just beat him into submission. Ridley would get destroyed by Vivi one-on-one, and this format lends itself well to someone like Vivi. Normally I would agree, but Pikachu was supposed to have gotten destroyed by Tidus in a one on one as well. I think I've earned the right to be an obnoxious ass for the rest of the round. I would really disagree with the idea that Tidus hurts Vivi to the point of Pikachu winning. Tidus isn't going to split with Vivi; it's going to be a one sided affair there. I'd bet a lot that Vivi and Leon advance to round 3 easy. --- let's mosey |

I'll say it one last time. Tidus. Being a SFF threat... no. Vivi is just going to annihilate him there, there is no significant hindrance. At this rate, Tidus won't even need to do much to hurt Vivi enough for Pikachu to squeak by. Normally I would agree, but Pikachu was supposed to have gotten destroyed by Tidus in a one on one as well. But there is zero reason to doubt Vivi. He's been proven time and again -- he hasn't been on any suspect decline since he got into the contest. Tidus is not a character who would have been expected to excel here either. --- let's mosey |
