Once again paraboxx, I'm the most avid FF9 hater there is, yet I still liked Vivi. It's impossible not to like the little guy. You almost feel sorry for him, not for the whole Black Mage thing, but because he has to put up with the idiots he shares his cast with. He's much like Squall in that regard. And yep, VII is next on the list, although I'm kind of worried that
the first two I'm playing are often regarded as the best. I might not
be as interested in the others if I'm already sampling the cream of the
crop. Haha, yeah. You weren't a big fan of FFVI, right? That probably limits what you should try considering that's the best of the old school FF's, or at least I think so! After you try FF7, you might try your hand at FF8, though. It's pretty different from the other two, but it's the closest to what you'll have been familiar with. --- let's mosey |

The point is that Ness split with them for the NPH. But he didn't do
that during the day vote, if Tidus trims the lead during the night I

Haha. I was rooting for Mario because of my bracket. I don't think
I'll actually end up voting for Mario in this contest because I prefer
his competition! *eyes bug out, jaw drops open* You're not voting for Mario there...? WOW. Give Samus her suit and I don't think Tifa performs a whole lot differently there. Well, the main reason I couldn't get very far in VI was because of the,
ahem, keyboard controls. I can't stand gaming on a keyboard. If I get a
USB controller (saw some good ones at a local Target for $20), I'd be

You know, I was just looking at the old X-Stats for 2k2, 2k3 and 2k4,
and I noticed Mega Man is equal to Sonic before any adjustments were
made in the 2k4 stats. Maybe Link/Mega Man wasn't as much of an underperformance as once thought? Mega Man only looked so dominant in 2k3 because Samus was behind Link. I would have pegged him at Mario/Crono's level back then given how much he dominated 2k2, but 2k4 is when we started seeing trends that are applicable today. I dunno, just a random thought I figured I'd throw out there. Maybe Mega Man was overadjusted in the adjusted stats for 2k4. TuRtLe ~~~ 65/88 in the contest. You really should just get one of the hook ups that lets ya stick a PS2
controller into the USB port. You can get em on ebay. Those USB

So tranny, you think Tifa > Vincent? Or more startlilngly, Tifa > the entire male bracket? ZSS is the most logical explanation. How many people have honestly played Zero Mission? Order a PS2-to-USB adapter online. They are like 10 bucks. You can just use your Playstation controller. There's also one at Radio Shack for about $7. I got mine pretty recently, but it's been working well so far. |

I think I may have gone my whole life up to this point without hearing someone voice dislike for FF6. If you don't like VI, you shouldn't bother with anything other than VII and X. I liked VIII, and loved parts of it (couldn't stand other parts), but the battle system was pretty bad. Yay! Another Wakka hater! Well, I don't hate Wakka. He and Kimahri are just the two I like the least, especially after Wakka's Final Fantasy Bible thumping, but that could just be personal bias. >_> Also, this may be more bias, but I'm kind of surprised that Lulu is almost never talked about. She's practically a female Auron, seems to be great in battle, and looks way cooler (not to mention hotter) than either Yuna or Rikku. Another one who agrees with the "USB controllers being crap" camp. Use
the converters instead. But you might still find the older graphics

there's just so much already in the contest FFX-wise. you can't put a
fifth character through, though I think she'd do pretty good. about as

I liked Lulu as well. Plus I tend to like girls with a nice bit of
sarcasm to them. I never got all the Rikku love myself. Especially when
everyone started talking about how hot she was. I guess that was the

Tidus is just going to look sorrier when this "comeback" fails. I agree about the PS2 USB controller thing. I bought one years ago for XBox controller too, it worked well. either Yuna or Rikku. What gives? This might just be personal bias, but she doesn't really *do* much after the first 1/4 of the game or so. Like I said, any benefit Snake got by SFFing Yoshi was lost with Solid ****. Yoshi's value on Super Snake was pretty much legit. Mega Man (2006c) VS Yoshi (2006c) Mega Man has a strength of 38.41. Yoshi has a strength of 36.84. Mega Man wins with 52.04% of the vote! A win of 5,067 with 123,960 total votes cast. Is there any argument you CAN'T botch utterly? --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |
