Well, this is just a pretty crappy performance from Balthier. Different
or not, letting Ada get that far ahead of you is terrible. Surprised
that FF12 is that uncared for on GameFAQs, though. --- let's mosey |

You know, it's not really surprising that Ada can do this. I mean, we all know how popular RE4 is and Ada has definitely
gotten plenty of spotlight in that game. As she showed against Jade,
she can easily rake in votes if her competition is that weak. She just
seemed to fold against an immensely popular character like Samus. Ada
seems to be in a second tier of characters from popular games. Not
overly popular against favorites, but easily popular enough and
recognizable to beat up fodder as well as a stronger character. We just
don't see that type of character often in these contests. I'm sure

Know what the best part is? This makes Vaan somewhat comparable to
Balthier. Sure, Vaan sucked, but he had to deal with three powerful
characters and SFF. Balthier is getting 33% in the fodder-four pack of

If worse comes to worse, I hope Ada stays ahead. Better to get two

are people jumping on the Leon > Dante wagon yet? I hope so! Funny, I take the exact opposite view...I'm on the Dante>Vivi bandwagon. too bad Leon/Dante/Ada/Vivi (Tidus?) looks likely at the moment..Dante > Vivi looks possible there, though I wouldn't bet on it. Leon should be able to SFF Ada into the ground, but will it be enough to beat Dante? No way I can see Leon beating Dante with Ada in there. We haven't seen Vivi perform yet, but I'm feeling good about him finishing above Leon due to Ada's presence. This isn't even Ada being strong, just Balthier bombing it up. Sure, she's probably a bit stronger thanks to RE4: Wii, but nothing too high over her value last year. So I guess at this rate we can chalk up FXIII as having a 2 week staying power and producing one character of Tanner strength. Nah, because it'll be the first next-gen Final Fantasy. Also it looks to be sci-fi. The medieval Final Fantasies, 9 and 12, are the ones that seem to suck here. The main problem is that the main character is a female. I don't think it being on the Wii is really that much of a factor.
Between having been on the GC AND PS2 before already, its already got a
pretty wide spread exposure. Well...wouldn't such a big increase at

FF13's going to bomb here because it's on the PS3. that's a ticket to apathy on this website right now. The key there being 'right now'. And isn't it supposed to be on the 360 as well? Also on the off chance a FF7 remake for the PS3 does happen, PS3 would gain a lot at this site. But PS3 will only grow in relative popularity from where it is now at this site anyway.
