Oh nevermind, I really misread that. :( Was this to me? If so no you didn't, I thought Ness would be in the next poll somehow :) I think Yuna is the favorite, but any of the other three could take 2nd. Also interesting point someone raised earlier about Metal Gear's final updates, with Snake beating out Sephiroth that way too. This match really hit brackets hard. But since just about everybody
failed at correctly prediction the match, the Top 50 mostly got
shuffled. Only 6 people fell off the Top 50. Crono801, Kilgamayan,
jaw_70, MasterSamuraiZ, TheS3hasYou and Ian_Ventricle didn't get enough
points from the previous match to stay on the Top 50. 16 people on the Top 50 managed to stay on despite only getting the match half right. Omniscience, E_Gadd, LegendaryGeno, thisistemporary, ooBlack_Roseoo, LeonhartFour, Naye745, HopefulDeath, alphawindow, StealThisSheen, Esperwolf, alpha_door, Cid_, warrant6767, JDotCDot and pikamasta didn't have Liquid Snake > Alucard as yesterday's winners. 23 people manage to stay on the Top 50 after collecting just a single point yesterday. KirbyKhan, user345, frozenflame264, The_Lady_Ashe, bokoboko42, IAmAnAlt, BeautyQueenEtna, HunterKiller47, TheColderWar, MarioSuperstar, LessThan3Presea, QwazyMofo, THEVinceYoung, One_winged_ange, jumpers123, supraman_64, Dekar_TKB, smitelf, JonesSodaMastr2, Clichokeet, miaminole21, shadow8021 and, the Board 8 consensus bracket, Board8_BOP just manage to hang in there. Congrats to hochiminh155, The_Dealer_7, TexasAggie, ForcefulKnight and Leonhart44. Liquid>Alucard was the probably the first 1 point match for most of us here. Also I doubt Ceej would've taken away any votes here, he probably hated to actually alter results - unless it favored Mario of course ;) But at least he would've checked...I somehow doubt SBAllen bothers to do any auditing at all. Aww yeah, just noticed I'm still on the leaderboard. Not after today
though. :( And I'm really not feeling confident in my bracket with Yuna
being there. I have Master Chief winning the next round (I picked Yuna
in the first round because I thought she'd be a lot stronger amidst
weaker competition). But she completely bombed. I wouldn't doubt her

| I think Yuna's performance was more Master Chief
impressing than her bombing. She should be at or around her 2k5 level,

To be honest, I don't see Mac coming back from even a 600 vote lead
once the day hits. I have a feeling this'll just continue throughout

3 votes... 3 freaking votes... ...I knew I'd regret bracket-voting Liquid this morning because I thought he'd need it to beat Ness. Well, as far as I'm concerned...if I'm a 13 year old faced with 4
characters I don't know, who am I going to vote for here? Chances are
it's not the pixelated boxer. I can't see Mac doing any better than he
is right now, and I doubt Ammy drops off enough (if at all) to make a

She's quite recognizable as the face of Okami, sure, but I had no idea that game possessed any presence on this site, and that name... for chrissakes, I can count the people who have gotten her name right on the boards with one hand. And it's not all the weakness of her opponents, either. She's getting 22% on Dante, which would peg her at like Vyse level... before even factoring in that there's two other opponents sucking up 31% of the vote. The only way Mac has a chance here is if Amaterasu has a bit of the
Phoenix Wright effect going on. I'm not so sure that isn't the case...
she's really slowing down. Mac probably does have a better chance at moving with the day vote... virtual console, right? sirree... but, coming from someone who ADORED Okami, I never dreamed of
Ammy getting over 20% here. This is incredible to me, and another point
I won't be bothered to lose in the slightest. --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

| Why would Ammy be Phoenix-esque, though? She's got
absolutely zero fad power, she's not even close to being as much of a
worshiped cult character as Phoenix is, unless there's some fan-site I

I also don't think this is a terribly poor showing from Dante... he's
one of those characters that isn't going to have that universal appeal,
especially considering how the DMC series doesn't have near as much
pull as more casual friendly games (I'd take GoW over DMC right now,
pretty easily). Dante's loved for his style and badassery, and a lot of
that comes with his typically photogenic pictures. He may have beaten
Yoshi with a better picture; today may be the worst picture he's ever
had. It counts for something. --- Samus 2K5 is horribly underrated, and is indirectly stronger than Mario. KHF sucks and never existed either, much like my package. |

Ammy getting over 20% here. This is incredible to me, and another point
I won't be bothered to lose in the slightest. After Okami pulled ~8% in the Best PS2 game poll, and lost to Lego Star Wars II for most anticipated september game, I was hoping for 15%. kinda reminds me of PW on this board. So I figure maybe it has the
