Alucard and Liquid have both gone up .3% this hour while Ness has
dropped .6%. Zidane's just kinda chillin' there. this is only going to
get more pronounced as the night goes, too. this is like the 3-4pm hour

Alucard and Liquid are likely to share trends, so I imagine these two
will continue to trade blows like this. Hopefully Alucard hanging on.
Hopefully, they'll both build up a big enough lead to fend off Ness as

9 people fell off the Top 50 today. Azp2k32, TheRunner_PD,
CountCrazy007, PantheraPardus, xStlouisHolt81x, chocoboslayer,
transience, SirBinro and Nemo_Incognito did not have Master Chief over
Yuna as the winners yesterday. 15 people only get the match half right but manage to stay on the Top 50. hochiminh155, frozenflame264, The_Lady_Ashe, bokoboko42, IAmAnAlt, BeautyQueenEtna, HunterKiller47, QwazyMofo, jumpers123, smitelf, HopefulDeath, Esperwolf, Kilgamayan, Cid_ and Leonhart44 also did not have Master Chief over Yuna as the winners yesterday but the 2 points keep them on the Top 50. 40 - Board8_BOP - 64 For the first time ever, a bracket made on the consenus picks from the Board Odds Project has made the Top 50! Currently it's tied for 16th! | Keep in mind that vote leads mean a little less today than in most of the previous close matches this contest. These guys are pulling in ~27% of the vote, while Frog/Axel were only getting ~18% for instance. Meaning it would be easier to come back from further down, if the day/night disparity were the same as that match. |

| Whoa, I left for about an hour and when I did
Liquid was in first with Alucard in second, much to my dismay. Can

The BoP had Cloud > Link, that didn't help...Tidus/Shadow, Ness/Jak,
and Vivi/DK might have kept the BoP out of the leaderboard in the early

what differences do we have between the BOP and the Guru? 3 differences. Round 1: BOP: Link > Bidoof Guru: Link > Miles Edgeworth BOP: Luigi > Mudkip Guru: Luigi > Pit Round 2: BOP: Mega Man > Knuckles Guru: Mega Man > Yoshi In terms of number of correct picks, the BOP has already won. I wake up from a sickness-induced nap to see the current standings reflecting my bracket perfectly. I am now 80% confident in Alucard. Liquid vs. Ness still concerns me, though. I wish it was a weekday, so Liquid had more time to build a lead, but the weekend doesn't necessarily mean more day vote, it just means a more spread out day vote, correct? traditionally, the "day vote" on the weekend comes in the morning and
the rest of the day is a lot more balanced. look at Shadow's match for
proof of that. we really don't know what's going to happen here though.
all we know is that Ness will do the best in the day. we don't know by

One dilemma I've already had with this match is who to bracket-vote for! I chose Liquid. I guess I really am more concerned with Ness passing him than him passing Alucard at this point. Well, considering Amaterasu as definitely weaker than Little Mac
regardless of how Mac finishes, many people (such as myself) thought
that Matt would definitely be stronger, especially if he was classified
as Matt the Mii or Matt (Wii Sports), and if he clearly looked like a
Mii. He got no such pic advantage/classification. Plus Little Mac got his absolute best in-game pic, one that I completely forgot existed. --- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. Character Battle V Contest Winner! |

even so, a Mii beating out legitimate characters when there's a lot of
percentage to go around? (I'm not buying Dante at 60+%, by the way --
these guys aren't that weak.) you can call him Matt the Mii, give him a
perfect picture and put a wii remote in the picture and I still would
