Know what amuses me about tomorrows match? Every year Master Chief and Halo has find some way to disappoint in situations that seemed impossible. It has been conditioned into our brains that somehow, someway Master Chief will find a way to ruin the brackets of anyone who counts on him. And so now that a lot of people are pulling against him (At least half the brackets maybe?) I think he's going to come on very strong and ruin brackets all over again. --- Eff Dee |

Well Chief is probably favored by casuals, I don't know how the board
is but it's probably pretty close. So either way a lot of people are

My Metal Fear has died down a lot since Raiden's match, though I do
still somewhat regret switching from Ness > Liquid to Ness >

Tomorrow's match is GFNW/PW all over again. People are conditioned that a certain character must
act a certain way. The same thing happened with all the Brawl
characters. People thought Ike, Pit and Marth were locks simply because

| On that potential Ganondorf in the finals scenario, I'd expect him to get a very small percentage in that match. Not only does he get killed by Link again, but he also loses all of the anti/not Link votes that probably contributed a lot to his 12%. I could see under 5% easily. Though almost everything that he gets would be coming from Link. |

People thought Ike, Pit and Marth were locks simply because of how Snake performed last year. Um...what? Almost nobody is picking Marth. People supported Pit because his competition looked so awful. And Ike is still a decent pick, because his competition is awful. Also, way to not mention Meta Knight. --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. that's already been released, and long with Roy he's the reason Fire

Fire Emblem became popular in the US. Because marth is a nobody. Smash can make a character more well known, because most of the characters have their own niche already carved out in the gaming universe. But in the case of Marth thats *all* he is known for, no one cares about a japanese FE appearance. And when you have to chose between him, or Donkey Kong (who will eat of many of his potential votes anyways, if he's only getting a Smash vote) or Kratos, well the choice is simple. --- Eff Dee |

Ike is certainly favored to advance. Duke Nukem has nothing new to
propel himself, and Guybrush...what casual voter would know who
GUYBRUSH is? And in terms of taking 1st, Gordon Freeman has, is, and

Vergil and Thrall have to be really pathetic if they let the scores
infer that Ratchet can get over 40% on them... for that matter, I'm
troubled that Ganondorf can't even quadruple Ratchet, after seeing that

Your logic is sound FD, but I don't agree with our conclusion. Marth is
one of the most popular characters in the fourth most popular videogame
series on the site. He's not a nobody. Considering his competition is
an extremely weak King of All Cosmos and an apathy-inspiring Donkey

Speaking of that, why was Simon fed to Crono again? Why was Lloyd fed
to Zero? Rematches that could be avoided make no sense to me. I guess

There still is a chance that Marth beats DK for 2nd. I have never seen
a character whose fans bail on him for practically any other character

Marth has an outside chance of rsffing DK. I don't even think it's that

The only Nintendo character that DK's been up against is Mario. Getting

That was long before the Nintendo Boost. 2.
