I don't know what to make of the day vote. World of Warcraft doesn't
strike me as a day vote kind of game. I'd pick DMC for that before I
would WOW, but I don't know if that actually translates to these

Here's my guess Vergil builds a respectable lead over the next 4 hours. Somewhere between 500-1000. Thrall doesn't show the day vote trend during the Before School Vote because his audience skews older, but he does start to stall/make small cuts from 7:00 AM through 2:00 PM Eastern. I don't think it's necessarily the day vote, I'm not sure if I could
expect it to go to either, I just expect Thrall to start taking
slightly more percentages as the day goes on, for whatever reason. I have Vergil in my bracket, but expected Thrall to take it before the match started, and still kinda expect Thrall to come back and take it. So, please prove me wrong, Thrall. While I think Thrall's fanbase skews older than your typical

| Devil May Cry definitely strikes me as the more
casual favorite game. But I dunno, Warcraft did alright in the day
against GTA, so who knows? Blizzard has weird voting trends. --- Raiden, Kirby, my stat analyses and my own face all suck horribly. Note to everyone on Board 8: XIII_rocks never loses sig bets. |

Thrall and Vergil seem more or less equal in strength. Of course,
Vergil will occasionally spike significantly above Thrall, before going
back to even. It would be nice to find out what would happen if this match was one on one. --- He was stuck by lightning and became insane.don't mind him.-hiei on me. Sound advice. |

well, when I think day vote, I think "come home from school, vote". not sure if Thrall's your guy in that situation. That's just it. I don't think he's getting kiddie or teen votes, I just think he'll get more votes during the day than Vergil. I think PC characters don't behave like console characters, in that PC gamers are different than console gamers. I get the impression that they have classes/jobs and don't care about gaming until they're home for the day. but then again, Starcraft's the bottom of the barrel when it comes to
day votes. Diablo's got a decent day vote, Arthas seems like more of a

I also agree that DMC is probably the more casual-friendly game, but I
was under the impression (I'm just as ignorant of DMC as I am of WoW)
that most casuals would have to play DMC3 to really be a Vergil voter.
I forget where I picked that up. Anyway, with DMC2's horrid reception, I figure a lot of casuals abandoned the series. They'll vote Dante, but not so much Vergil, if my info was correct. --- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. Character Battle V Contest Winner! |

Correct me if I'm wrong some crazy kid with sales figures, but I think
with the help of the SE, DMC3 has sold about as well as DMC1 at this
point. In any case, DMC3 did not sell poorly. You're right about Vergil drawing mostly from it, though, but I don't think that's a big issue. --- Raiden, Kirby, my stat analyses and my own face all suck horribly. Note to everyone on Board 8: XIII_rocks never loses sig bets. |

Diablo had a 239 vote lead an hour in, then Arthas fought back and took
the lead by 5am, built it to 631 votes by 2pm, and then lost ~300 votes
during the daytime. that's not much of a shift, but it definitely shows

This is the absolute perfect type of match for heavy rallying. I'll be
pretty surprised if Thrall doesn't win, and the only reason Vergil has
any chance is because a lot of WoW fans might look at the poll and
