Samus be Noble Niner level in 2000? That depends on when in 2000 you're
talking. Early in the year SSB hadn't settled in NEAR enough for her to

Like I said, Samus might be a strong upper-midcarder in 2000 on account
of Super Metroid nostalgia and rumours of a "next-gen" Metroid game

But Samus and Cloud at least have a picture each where they look good.
Cloud getting 9999 and Samus blasting Cloud point blank with a charged
shot. Mega Man has one where Link's about to decapitate him and another
where he's replaced by a beefy doppleganger that looks nothing like the

Yeah, if you figure that 3 or 4% was meant for FFVI, FFVI and FFVII
were pretty damn close back then. Hell, back in the opening days of the
