Of course, as I say that, Fisher makes a big cut. He's made big cuts in
this match so far only to let Raiden gain on him the next update so far

I also think that Raiden is going to pull this out in the end. Fisher
isn't impressing me with the afternoon vote, which is just fine by me

Raiden is underperforming due to Sam Fisher splitting the Tactical Espionage vote with him. That's not really a consideration when comparing Fisher and Raiden to each other, unless you actually think that Sam is rSFFing Raiden... --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. I think Sam Fisher is about on pace with how many votes per update he needs for a comeback. I still can't get over how bad Simon is doing today... guess 2k2 wasn't
a fluke, though he really didn't have much reason to perform better

Well, we've seen how far Alucard has fallen since the glory days of
2002 and 2003. Belmont was already much weaker than that, so he had
nowhere to go but even farther down, really. And I wish someone like Kefka was put here in Sam's place just to see if the servers would crash when the clock struck 3 P.M. --- Vote for Serge. |

It's not safe at all to assume that Raiden gets an MGS2 picture next
round (especially if it's like the sprite round or something)! And some
of these comparisons are getting out of hand - ZSS? Raiden's not

There are two possible reasons for Raiden underperforming: 1. MGS4 pic. Say what you will, but Raiden is a VERY common name in video games. Soo Sam still isn't doing well enough. I think 5 PM is the best time for Xbox characters though is it not? I can't see the 'genericness' of Raiden's name hurting him. Are people
really not going to vote for him if they get confused with the Raiden
from Mortal Kombat (...somehow, looking at that picture?). Heck, I've
always thought characters like Kratos Aurion have a *slight* edge

Nobody likes Tidus, but he's not fodder scrapping the bottom of the barrel, is he? Just because your limited view is that nobody liked him in MGS2 doesn't mean it's true. picture?)." That's plain asinine. No one said people are confusing him with the MK Raiden, just that it's a common name and this picture is not going to be familiar to everyone. It's not a name like Mario where everyone knows who you are talking about without any other information. For Raiden you need disambiguation, and the picture certainly isn't providing that. Not everyone has seen the MGS4 trailer, after all, and even as someone who did I couldn't have identified that picture without any other information. --- You do not have the right to never be offended. |
