Know anything about what? And sure it makes sense, sort of. People who liked Raiden but forgot about him would be reminded of how cool he was by hearing he's in MGS4. People who didn't like Raiden wouldn't vote for him anyway, but would be less likely to purchase a game he has a major role in. I'm not saying it's a certainty...but it's possible. |

No I have not. (Hence me not knowing whether he was in the game, since
apparently he even shows off a new look in the trailers.) I love how Tails and The Boss have been under 100 for the last 2.5 hours and no one cares. I care. This match is awesome. |

If there was a reason to care about third place, we would. But, at this
point, all it means is that The Boss sucks a little bit less than Tails. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Just noticed...Eliezer7779 is at #18 this far into the contest with

percentage in his first-round match and likely his second round match
as well. On top of his already-poor prediction rates, he's also the

been eliminated and -- had he at least picked KOS-MOS to win it all

Option order matters because you're more liable to put characters
listed first, err, first, while characters who are listed last get put
last - and since order matters, that affects the prediction
percentages. Though that shouldn't matter in Zero's second round match, on a serious note. Unless people expect him to get first in that one... --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

All right, I finally watched those Raiden trailers. On the one hand - okay, that's a pretty different Raiden. And focusing on him destroying mechs with a sword was definitely the way to go. So I can see where you're coming from. On the other hand: "They're replacing the Ninja?? With Raiden!?" (the eyeliner doesn't help either, btw) |

How well do people expect Raiden to stack up to Tidus? The hate for
each has died down about equally, but FFX's a much more popular game,

Magus was overrated. Frog hardly changed that year. he was overrated as well. Magus went from beating Ganondorf and scoreing 35% on Link to losing to Knuckles. That wasn't overrating, that was a drop. And Frog went from going toe to toe with Snake (albeit Solid **** in Snake's worst year) to barely breaking 30% on Samus. TuRtLe ~~~ 42/52 in the contest. That may be so, but tails has two tails. So who knows. True, but the bottom line is The Boss is a great character and Tails is just some jobber sidekick. That wasn't overrating, that was a drop. And Frog went from going toe to toe with Snake (albeit Solid **** in Snake's worst year) to barely breaking 30% on Samus. TuRtLe Magus was a drop, but not as much as you imply seeing as how Nintendo, Zelda characters not excluded keep getting stronger.
