No, that's exactly the point why Tanner wouldn't look like Tanner-level
fodder. Firstly, Link gets anti-voted - many popular characters do to
an extent, but being the
long-running-winning-every-time-but-one-which-many-don't-even-count
Champion always gives Link a decent amount of anti-votes he can't avoid
(I know I anti-vote Link in all his matches). Then there's joke votes,
the fact that we've got such high votals these days, and simply how
ungodly difficult it is to get into the 90s, let alone the virtual
impossibility of 99%... ...put it this way, in a one-on-one match Link would be VERY hard pressed to get 90% on Agent J despite how badly he's doing here. By pure stats, Tanner would probably look a world better than he did through 2004 extrapolation. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

Yeah, it's no coincidence that the second lowest character in the stats
was blown out by by a guy that got *really* blown out by Mega Man.
Clinkeroth is probably the best set of characters for really bad fodder

No, Snake wouldn't have a prayer of 70% here. But even if J managed 8%
against Snake, if Snake gets ~15% in his match with Link, J probably

Tanner is one of those situations I don't think will ever happen again.
Tanner was a character who needed a company cap and his game coming out
during the nomination period just to make it in. Then, by the time his
match happened, people realized how crappy Driv3r was and traded it
in/returned it to Blockbuster and totally forgot about it. Then, he
drew fellow action game star Solid Snake, which threw in a bit of SFF
there as well. Combine all of that with the low votals of the 2004
contest and you have the fodderest fodder that ever foddered. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Here is my theory for that match that I totally expect to be made fun of for. =/ Dante --> Link. Matt --> Bidoof. Ammy --> Edgeworth. Little Mac --> Agent J. I don't expect Little Mac to be nearly as bad as Agent J, but I'm still not really feeling that he has a shot. D: And before anyone says "Yeah, Dante is totally going to have the same effect here as Link. Well, I'm voting Matt anyway. It's either him or Little Mac for me, and
it took me far too long to get into Punch-Out...plus Matt's in my
bracket. Not that I feel great about it, but hey, we'll see what happens. There's probably more people on GameFAQs who have played Wii Sports than people who played a DMC game/PO/Okami.
