You can ignore transparent proxy votes, but I'm not sure if they'd
even do that. Anonymous and High Anonymous proxies would be a lot
tougher to isolate. A site like this would definitley be able to ignore transparent proxy votes. Hell, *I* could probably design a code to block them. Anonymous and High Anonymous would be tougher to isolate, but not impossible for a major site like this. Well, at least I got in the Guru top 10 for a day. I'm #1 in the guru --- Fc: 4768 3939 5325 |

A site like this would definitley be able to ignore transparent
proxy votes. Hell, *I* could probably design a code to block them.
Anonymous and High Anonymous would be tougher to isolate, but not
impossible for a major site like this. Which is basically what I said. You can ignore transparent proxy votes - but would they? I doubt that's currently hard-coded. They might check the forwarded_for to see if that IP already voted, but I don't think they'd just block them. I doubt very many of these are transparent proxies though, they're probably anon and high anon. And high anonymous would be extremely difficult, if not for Ceej's IP block analysis or whatever Batman-style detective thing he did that one time. --- www.gamefaqscontests.com www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

Obviously before it updates, it weeds out trans. proxy votes. That is the purpose of the five minute updates. It hones in for that time period. And high anonymous would be extremely difficult, if not for Ceej's IP block analysis or whatever Batman-style detective thing he did that one time. Not just anyone can stuff with high anon.
