"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU *****!" - Molly Weasley, Deathly Hallows

The idea of someone rallying for Crash Bandicoot strikes me as the funniest situation I could imagine.

Too true.

Just for fun, Magus got 30.22% against Crono in a match we once thought to have SFF. Now...Magus has 31.65% against somebody who has only beaten Ulala, somebody who has only beaten Kane (in a TV-set, at that), and the only character that ever lost to Gordon Freeman.

Wake-up call to those who ain't caught on yet!

He's taken 0.36% of the lead from Phoenix... at this rate we'll have something like 23-23-22-32...

Nobody expects Bon Jovi lyrics:

Tommy used to work on the docks
union's been on strike

He's down on his luck - It's tough
so tough.
Gina works the diner all day
working for her man

She brings home her pay for love
for love.

She says: We've got to hold on to what we've got
'Cause it doesn't make a difference if we make it or not.
We've got each other and that's a lot for love -
We'll give it a shot.

We're half way there - Livin' on a prayer

Take my hand and we'll make it
I swear - livin' on a prayer.

Tommy got his six string in hock.
Now he's holding in what he used to make it talk -
So tough
it's tough.
Gina dreams of running away
when she cries in the night
Tommy whispers: Baby
it's okay
someday.

We've got to hold on to what we've got . . .
We're half way there - Livin' on a prayer
. . .

We've got to hold on ready or not

You live for the fight when it's all that you've got.

We're half way there - Livin' on a prayer

We're half way there - Livin' on a prayer

We're half way there - Livin' on a prayer

I also cannot wait for Mario's match next round, no matter who wins here. If Phoenix wins, his fanbase will be plenty solid enough to compete. If Bomberman wins, he would have Crash to both with on casual votes (though he'll then have Mario). If Crash wins...well, we get to see Mario rightfully beat that ass!

I even like that lil' bandicoot, but it's been a long time coming.

If Bomberman wins here his casual support is getting nuked by Mario next round. Phoenix is the only entrant with any chance of holding up.

If that happens though, I'll be really interested to see the Big Boss/Phoenix/Magus percentages...

Phoenix and Crash are making this incredibly difficult for Bomberman. Magus is now starting to bleed percentage, but Bomber needs to pick up most of it; doesn't look like he is.

Yeah, Magus is the one starting to bomb with the day vote, as expected. Phoenix Wright is merely stalling, and Crash's day vote is hindering Bomberman. Heck, Crash almost won the FULL update there...

It DOES make me feel better about having Zero > Jak though!

Yeah no doubt Phonetix has the rally power. I say...200 would make Bomberman safe - Phonetix's nightvote shift is nowhere near as pronounced as Frog's, but then IMO Phoenix rallying would be far, FAR more vicious.

Crash is just benefiting from being recognizable. Magus is a side-character in an old-as-dirt SNES RPG, Phoenix Wright is cult/niche as hell, and Bomberman, while having a good deal of casual appeal, has always been niche at heart. No one cares about Crash, but EVERYONE knows him.

Frog gained 400 in that last hour, so if Phoenix's rally power is comparable, he might need a bit more cushion than 200 votes. However, I'm not so sure if Phoenix's rallying power will be much stronger. I know of at least a few Board 8ers who, like me, were rallying at 100% Hypermode during that last hour. It was insane.

In other words, he'll fall just short.

Frog is the rally MASTER though, next to Starcraft. I don't think Phoenix will do that well.

Besides, who's to say he doesn't come back on his own? I can't see the night vote being very good for Bomberman.

And who's to say Bomberman takes the lead anyway? Phoenix is doing some nice stalling.

This is the board that had Phoenix winning for half an hour against Magus.

Perhaps the effectiveness of a Phoenix "rally" effort would be questionable, but he'll have no shortage of support.
