still think Link will break 80% with ease just because he's facing
much weaker competition than Cloud and Seph, and he SFFs all of it, in
theory. He wouldn't 90% Edgeworth, I know that much. I'm not sure whether he'd 85% him, tbh. --- http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=34492787 Sign plz "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU *****!" - Molly Weasley, Deathly Hallows |

80% is pushing it for me. 70% I think is doable (only because I really can't see Agent J garnering over 10%). Hey, you never know. I could be wrong, Link could get 90% and make everyone else in this contest looks like complete crap! --- Kleenex - Now with an invigorating blast of citrus cherry flavor. Well, I think Link could manage as low as 88% on any of these three
guys in singles matches and still manage 85% against the three of them.
I'd think most of their "strength" in matches against Link would be
anti-vote fueled. Edgeworth is the one that's making me worry. Agent J I can see obtaining the lowest % in the contest so far (Elite Beat Agents does horribly on polls), and Bidoof well... I don't think most people get the joke like B8 does. Edgeworth might have a more resilient fanbase. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

I really have no faith in Bidoof. He's not a fad anywhere besides
B8(From what I've seen) and he's not even a likable pokemon. At least
Mudkip could have some fans for being a starter, Bidoof just looks
stupid and sucks which is the point of the fad about him. --- Demyx is better than Axel. I don't like Haley Scarnato |

Elite Beat Agents does horribly on polls Maybe we have different views on what's horrible and not, but in the fairly recent "Favorite Rhythm Series" and "Best DS Game of 2006", EBA surpassed my expectations, getting somewhere around 8% in both bolls. Wouldn't be surprised to see J end up with a similar 8% here. --- Kleenex - Now with an invigorating blast of citrus cherry flavor. CB6 - 24/32; Oracle - 35th |

About Bidoof, people weren't "in" on the whole Nidoran F thing, and she still managed 20% on Samus. I can't see Link going over 75% in that match. And Cloud and Sephy did just fine in their matches. Although I have to say Samus and Mega Man looked more impressive by comparison. TuRtLe ~~~ 28/32 in the contest. Next pick: Sephiroth > Peach BlAcK TuRtLe. The cream of Zero fanboyism |

That was my reasoning. PW might be a DS game, but it seems...removed
from the DS fanbase somehow. It seems to do its own thing more. Plus
it's cult and has a hard core of fans that LOVE Edgeworth (even more
than Phoenix). --- http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=34492787 Sign plz "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU *****!" - Molly Weasley, Deathly Hallows |

About Bidoof, people weren't "in" on the whole Nidoran F thing, and she still managed 20% on Samus. Nidoran F was from the RBY era and is actually likable. Reading the last page, I think a number of you are underestimating just
how ridiculously strong Link is. This is a guy who put up nearly 45% in
a poll with Cloud, Snake, and Sephiroth. Think about that long and
hard, then compare them to the combined powers of Bidoof, Agent J
(who), and Edgeworth. 80% is most certainly within his grasp -- he's
the only one on this site who could do it, too. --- Experiment status report update: Metroid project 'Dread' is nearing the final stages of completion. |

I was expecting more from Sephiroth (in large part due to expecting
much less from Meta Knight), but this still ain't bad. Replace CATS

Best case scenario, this is par for the course all things considered.
Worst case, it's a rather poor performance. Either way, I'm pretty
pleased with it, just because he didn't come out and impress. Of
course, it doesn't mean a whole lot -- it's all based on expectations
and comparisons to other Noble Nine matches we've seen -- and Mario
still has yet to perform, but the match certainly isn't dashing hopes
if you're one of the folks with the Mario upset, I don't think. --- Experiment status report update: Metroid project 'Dread' is nearing the final stages of completion. |

Anyone mind explaining to me why people picked Bidoof in that match? I mean, come on. Because Agent J has last place secured by a mile... and I love me some EBA, and not that many people have played PW. PW is weak enough as it is, and that's with the whole fad adding to his recognition. Edgeworth? He's not getting votes if you haven't played PW, and even if you have, it's not like it's a guarantee. I'll take some random pokemon, even if he is god awful, to take that match. It's not like Nidoran F is any good.
