Wario got 35.11% on Shadow. Some will say Shadow's 45% on Mario means
Wario is good, but that's rubbish! Shadow was merely a Sonic proxy, so

A true emo would be Zidane, who spends the better part of the entire third disk whining because he can't get in Garnet's pants. Huh? I know it's Turtle speaking and all, but he never ceases to amaze me with some of his comments... Oh, and here comes the stats topic with their typical Peach bashing! "Peach is who I THOUGHT she was!" etc etc etc And Ulti's not the only Peach fan dammit! SMB2, SMK, and SMRPG ftw! Still don't get how the Meta Knight love isn't stemming from his exposure in SSBB. Again, the Kirby series isn't that prominent. Again, I bring up Ridley from the much more prominent Metroid series. And don't give me that Metroid fans don't think Ridley is badass. I'd say with confidence that Ridley is the fan favourite in Metroid,
not including Samus. His boss fights are usually the best in each game,

Because it looks like Sephi is really underperforming in this match

He's just as much to the Metroid fanbase as Meta Knight is to the Kirby
fanbase I will give you just that, though. You tell me what Ridley does in the game (none of this HM grabbing crap from the instruction manual) that isn't a boss fight, and what makes his boss fights any better than those against many other bosses in the games. In his match, I think the meat of Ridley's votes came from bracket votes and "not Diablo" votes. Meta Knight? Not only are his boss fights easily the coolest in the games, but he's also got dialogue and stuff to cement his status as the main Kirby villain. You can say that Meta Knight shouldn't be more popular than Ridley because the Metroid fanbase is so much larger, and maybe I'll start to buy it... but I'm never going to go along with the idea that Ridley is as treasured by the Metroid fanbase as MK is by the Kirby fanbase. --- "GUYS I JUST DRANK A MASTER CHIEF SODA, MASTER CHIEF FOR 2007!" - Swirldude |

| I'd say Sephiroth is doing about as expected here considering Meta Knight's strength. I had Sephiroth getting 58-59%, but that was with Meta Knight finishing below CATS. |

Stop comparing Meta Knight to Ridley. Like I said, he's way more like Protoman. And I think Protoman had the worst possible opponent he could have drawn in his one contest appearance. I don't buy that most of this is Brawl at all. Maybe he got a slight

I find it hard to believe either side of that argument. I wouldn't expect the ignorant masses to know who Meta Knight is, but at the same time I wouldn't expect them to be following the Brawl updates and still voting him above Peach. If I had to guess I'd say it was the former, since appearing in a Brawl trailer shouldn't give him an SFF split advantage over Peach. You'd have to know he's a badass to support him like that. Granted, we've already come to the conlusion that no one actually cares about Peach...but still. I think he has a great shot at either second or third to Fox. I guess
next round will really test if this is a Smash thing, or if Meta Knight
really has such a large fanbase. I wouldn't expect him to hold up

Though I think MK would have a reasonable amount of strength before
SFF. He seems to be worshipped by the Kirby fanbase - he might be one
of those characters who has a small number of fans who'll vote for him
over anything else (ie, most kirby fans). Though I still think SSBB is

That's another thing I've never really gotten - why are people calling
Cloud and Sephiroth's preformaces poor? Grabbing over 50% of a poll
(60% in Cloud's case) with four
characters isn't exactly bad. Even in 1v1 matches, stuff like 80% is
pretty damn tough to get. What were you people expecting? All N9
members have proved themselves so far by garnering half their
respective polls. It's not like any of them had uber-fodder either. All
of them had at least mid-carders to deal with. Hell, even the percentages they've obtained correlate to their strangths among the Noble Nine (Cloud > Sephiroth > Samus > Mega Man). I think a lot of you are vastly underestimating what kind of damage having 2 addition characters in a poll will to their percentages. omg triple post sry -=- calling performances poor? I don't think they're POOR per se, just disappointing. What they're doing is alright, but I was expecting Mass Destruction by the N9, Clinkeroth in particular. I wouldn't be shocked if Link didn't hit 70% in his first round. Can I just say that MK is pulling in absoultely ridiculous gains here as well? I'm getting less and less impressed by 70 vote gains in this format. I thought it was an incredible thing to do, but Axel, Fenix and now MK have all been able to do stuff like that. Meh. Also, MK might well be beating Peach in a regular match.
