| Well, I guess this match is pretty good to determine exactly when the after-school vote starts. Peach is demolished. What an interesting match today - as interesting as it gets without a single "lead" change. |

There are many factors I'm drawing up in my head for Meta Knight's
performance, one is that male characters are more popular than female
characters but I just know Board 8 will tear that theory apart so I'm
just going to sketch it first. It is SSBB that got him recognition
enough to enter the contest (the same that got Pit in), but a boost
like that is only good for nominations and not really strong enough

If you take into account that most of the "kiddies" are probably male,
13-18 year old boys then yeah I can believe they favor any badass over
any chick. Honestly though I don't know why Peach ever made cuts at

I said this last night but I'll say it again. Kirby's games are
popular, almost all of them sell over a million. The thing is that
pretty much nobody views it as their favorite series. I buy every Kirby
game that comes out and I'd still vote for more than half the series in
the BSE contest over it. Meta Knight however, is loved by pretty much
every Kirby fan there is. I'll believe this is Brawl hype if Pit surprises us but I doubt he will. I really think my theories correct. --- Demyx is better than Axel. I don't like Haley Scarnato |

The Kirby series has sold over 20 million games. Meta Knight has
appeared in Kirby's Avalanche, Super Star, NIghtmare in Dreamland, Air
Ride, the Amazing Mirror, Canvas Curse, and Squeak Squad, and has been
a fan favorite in the series the entire time. Why is it shocking that he is beating a character that, prior to this match, it was agreed had few "real" fans, especially after he had every reason to be fresh in everyone's mind due to the announcement that he's going to be in SSBB? And does no one else recall that he was one of the most requested characters to be in SSBM's sequel? Unless they been stuffing for a while now but i doubt it.
