Not really. He's picking it up. And there's no Midgar Zolom to
completely dominate as far as votes go. CATS holds up much better as a

I mean, before I played SC, Ivy was the only character I knew from the
game. I guess that big boobs are very diffused around Internet and
stuff, but I'd still say that Ivy is the most iconic character from SC --- Onimimi's films rules! |

I'm sorry, this is like GTA Vs. Warcraft weird to me, where I'm looking
at the results but I just don't understand where this is coming from.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not begruding anyone who picked Meta Knight;
great job on calling this upset. I'm just confused. If this was due to
Peach sucking, I could understand, but she appears to be performing to
expectations. As far as I'm concerned this has to be a sign of some crazed SSBB voting base, because I just can't see Meta Knight being above the fodder line based on his appearance in Kirby alone. There's just no precedent for me. --- "Look out-- It's Liquids and Gases!" |

I haven't been participating much here with classes and what not, but
the degree to which several of you are ready to call a match involving
an untested character who currently has a lead of 596 and falling is
startling. It's almost worse than reading the "Axel couldn't possibly
come back" nonsense. If Peach has stayed close to Meta all this time,
and is even making cuts now (581), why should she collapse with the
after school vote? Why is coming back from 1427 votes from Jill being ignored here? She did it in just three and a half hours, from 3-6; the after school vote. uh... 1.) Jill is a damn joke in the day. you can win the day vote from her simply by being Not Jill. 2.) Peach cut ~200 votes from Jill during the morning. She stopped making cuts over an hour ago. Now she's only holding him
off going evenly with him. Besides, the simple fact that she starting
making cuts only after the morning vote wore off is pretty much a given
that she'll lose the after-school vote to MK. So far, Peach has done
better at the night hours and MK has done better with the morning hour
which is typically associated with the after-school vote. It's not
impossible for Peach to miraculously turn around and get more of the
after-school vote in spite of that, but it would be nearly
unprecendented. --- This story is not an end yet. Because only you are in the infinity loop. |

| Peach lost the NPH and the morning votes to MK. Those NPH and morning votes are usually preview of the after school kiddies votes. (Peach may still take the after school vote but it is very unlikely.) |

it's not impossible, but HIGHLY improbable. I'll wait to see how 3pm
goes first, but it looks like MK may end up with a ~1500 vote win or so

It's not unprecedented at all when it happened yesterday. Are you referring to Toad? I don't know if that's a good example. He was in a fodderish position and he was pretty consistent throughout the entire day. Otherwise I don't know what you're talking about. Both Bowser and Mewtwo improved with the morning vote. Bowser's % decreased a tad because Mewtwo improved a bit more than he did, but that's not the same situation --- This story is not an end yet. Because only you are in the infinity loop. |

I just think it's silly when a lead is so small by an untested
character to rule Peach out. If her coming back is unprecedented, the
entire format of this contest is, too. I think she still has a good
chance, especially if she stays even with him until the after school

If Peach wins the afterschool vote marginally she's still in with a
shot here. MK is within striking range as long as the lead stays less
than, say, 750 (though I appreciate that all the signs point to MK
beating Peach after school). I don't rely on her coming back from much

What is this madness with Meta-Knight winning? Here I was thinking my
vote for him would be helping CATS win! Oh well, I'll gladly lose two
points to see him win. I expect the vast majority of brackets don't
have him, so I might stay on the leaderboard anyway! LessThan3Presea
has Sephy > Meta-Knight though, so it's good! Sephiroth is disappointing me, though that's probably due to my underestimation of Meta-Knight. I honestly think that Cloud had a tougher fourpack at first, but it's hard to say now. No telling where Meta-Knight really is. --- What now, Merril Hoge? |
