matters that much, though seeing Peach on a roll like that is a good
sign for her. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

I just thought; this may mean things for Pit. sure, he's in a lesser
game from Meta-Knight but they practically have the same exposure to
the point where it doesn't matter. --- Today: Sephiroth > CATS - Vote: Meta-Knight Tomorrow: Fox > Wario - Vote: Fox - Points: 26/30 |

to be getting the before-school vote, which should be a sign of things

Yeah, this isn't encouraging for Peach. MK did better during the Power
Hour, Peach shaved off votes during the night... and as soon as the
morning hits, MK starts skyrocketing. If you put a gun to my head I'm
gonna tell you MK's gonna take the afterschool vote - decisively. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

Was Peach in second next round really such a popular pick? I could have never entertained it, myself. I'd love to tell you no but my bracket betrays me >_> I did originally have Meta Knight and then I thought 'That's a stupid idea SE! Change it to Peach!'. Okay, so what have I missed? I'm looking at the updater and it looks
like Peach slowly cut at Meta-Knight's votes before he exploded with
the morning votes. It's weird that Peach took the night
vote from Meta Knight. If Meta Knight takes the day vote, I guess
that's proof of how much the casual GameFAQs population is attuned to
SSBB hype. I'm definitely not putting this on MK's strength from the
Kirby series... Oh well, if Peach doesn't come back, it's not too much of a biggie, because it means that PIT > Mudkip and Tingle confirmed. Or so I hope.... --- Currently playing: Call of Duty 2, Maverick Hunter X, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Dead Rising, Tomb Raider Legend |

Peach winning updates now is expected - heck, even "assuring." This is
the miniature night vote, remember - the same one where Peach was
cutting Meta's lead consistently as well. If trends hold, she's gonna get buried when school lets out. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |
KamikazePotato | Posted 9/11/2007 6:17:57 AM | message detail |
Eh, I just can't see MK being popular with the after-school vote. He
seems more like the type of character people with hardcore fans vote
for. --- Can anyone give me the dimensions of their Wii box?- Mershiness adamjaxe- Stop measuring your presents.... |

Woah, if Meta-Knight takes the morning vote he's got no problems here. This should be Peach's best time. --- Mustache...and green... http://www.rit.edu/~zmb0386/Brawl.jpg |
Karma Hunter | Posted 9/11/2007 6:20:14 AM | message detail |
And yet look at the morning vote, which typically reflects the
afterschool vote to a T. Meta Knight erased all of Peach's progress on
him and proceeded to jump up a few hundred more votes in that short
time. That speaks volumes to me. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |
ShatteredElysium | Posted 9/11/2007 6:21:39 AM | message detail |
Anyone fancy doing some number crunching to find out what sort of lead
Peach would need going into the afternoon vote to stand a chance? I'm
guessing she'd need about a 1500-1600 lead by the time the afternoon
vote kicks in if MK pulls in a similar percent to the morning vote.
Does that sound about right? Not exactly likely of occurring in my
opinion. --- Character Battle: 28/32 Oracle: 30th Team Oracle: 19th (Partner: BZer0) |

Yeah, I hope in light of this no one tries to assert that Pit is a foolish choice now... If that was in reference to me, I never though it was a foolish choice given the competition... I just thought it was the worst one. Now I'm left wishing I had taken him, but I'm not really mad about it, because it's not like I fought myself over that one, just simply didn't see it coming. Anyway, I still think Peach has a shot at this match, regardless of everyone's insistence to call it over. MK is showing plenty of reasons why he should be considered the favorite at this point (winning the NPH, pre-school vote), as 99% of the time it leads to who wins the after-school, and at this point, whoever takes that is pretty much a lock to win this, that is unless MK increases his lead throughout the day, and has a solid lead, but I doubt it. Despite everything saying MK is going to win the afterschool vote, it still just feels so wrong to me. Pretty much I'll have to see it to believe it. --- Explicit Content. potential to get really interesting after school Peach should have the

After all that's happened in the contest so far, I'm kinda wishing I made these picks: Fox > Wario instead of Wario > Fox (fanboyism originally, but it looks like strength means almost everything) Magus > Bomberman, not Phoenix Luigi > Pit, not Mudkip Ganondorf > Thrall, not Vergil Alucard > Ness, not vice versa Snake > Nightmare, not Vyse I randomly predict I'll miss 5/6 of what I've got in my bracket with these. --- "Ah, a party! Haste, after today match, I'd say that Wario has many chances to win
tomorrow. Yeah, I know Fox is in Brawl, too, but Wario was the most
announced character, and Meta-knight appeared at, like, every single
pic at the update web. And as for the other matches you said, I'm not sure about Bomberman and Phoenix, they're very close. Arthas overperfomed (Tuesday), but whatever, Thrall and Vergil should be close, too. And I also have Vyse at 2nd, but Nightmare can upset. But Ivy didn't do very well last year, and everyone knows she is the most known character from SC (Also, Nightmare won't have neither TJF, and Ivy is clearly the winner of TJF, although that couldn't help her) --- Onimimi's films rules! |
