Cloud was around 53.5% now and ended at 61%. And he was against
complete day vote chumps. Sephiroth is looking pretty poor, even for

And Meta Knight is FAR cooler than Peach, so this doesn't really upset me either way. Ultros would be a fine addition. Though I like the idea of Ansem more.
With CATS and Ansem on the same team, they'd have 100% of the vote,

I agree with the discussion in the last topic about females sucking due
to this site's demographics, and that they are not to be trusted in a
contest setting (this also played into my doubting Midna). But that's
general gamer demographics too. Speaking of female video game
characters sucking horribly... KamikazePotato Ridley>anything is still the most stupid first round upset. By far. Nothing - and I mean, NOTHING - will ever compare to Kerrigan>Vincent in that regard. KH The difference of appeal is too important - and the most important thing of all is that there is a HUGE section of voters who have no clue wtf Meta Knight is. EVERYONE knows who Peach is, it's just a matter of them caring. This does make more sense than the "hardcore" thing. (though you still can't say Peach>Meta Knight with any real confidence) I mentioned earlier someone like Akuma might benefit from this format, because of recognizability being less of a factor. That's very different than hardcore though (though Akuma qualifies under both probably). Will there be people who follow your anecdotal trend and vote for Meta Knight in such a scenario despite having never seen him before? Of course. "Winning" the day vote as we've typically known it has been about what
characters do better and worse during the day. It's generally agreed
that Master Chief "won" the day vote from Crono despite not winning a
single update - the percentage shift was just too huge to ignore there.

in terms of game sales. Males are just more of a sales draw (in

probably won't explode in the day like Cloud does, but he's still
looking to finish well over 50%. Most likely, yeah. No way he finishes under 50% here, but he's certainly looking to finish way under expectations, especially against a rather weak pack. He hasn't done it over 15 minutes (though if he doesn't this time, he
