Remember that time Mario spent two months owning the main bracket and

How in the world can you say this so authoritatively? Because I always do that about picks that I'm supremely confident on. :'( (at the very least, it makes gloating for the other party much sweeter if and when I should lose!) But seriously, I could never even consider Meta over Peach. Ocelot would decimate Pac-Man in this setting, but he still lost one-on-one. The difference of appeal is too important - and the most important thing of all is that there is a HUGE section of voters who have no clue wtf Meta Knight is. EVERYONE knows who Peach is, it's just a matter of them caring. Will there be people who follow your anecdotal trend and vote for Meta Knight in such a scenario despite having never seen him before? Of course. But it wouldn't be nearly enough - I would never make that pick, and I would be at a complete loss to explain it at all if it happened. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

I think it just shows that even joke characters won't have an inflated percentage in this type of poll... My zero bracket's gone, as it assumed Peach getting second. characters... of course they're going to overperform during the NPH.

I do like the idea that if this were a team of MK, CATS, and Peach that
they'd be beating Sephiroth. That's just be hilarious to see. Replace
