A few stragglers remain, but even their hope fades. The Crash games have sucked after CTR (though I will give Wrath of Cortex a pass because it was kinda fun). They are either really terrible platformers (Twinsanity) or poor attempts at reliving past glory (Crash Nitro Kart). The Fire Emblem fanbase generally likes Ike...there's just the problem
of that fanbase not being very big, like you said. But, hey, Metal

I took Gordon Freeman > Ike, but I'm not sure if Ike can get past
Duke Nukem. I just hope the FE fanbase is dedicated enough to put him

Many of Crash's hardcore fans offed themselves after they realized no more good games for his series would be made after CTR. Not really. At the very least, there are as many Crash hardcore fans as Phoenix Wright's. There is also a new Crash game on the way by the way, and it looks kind of promising. I think the Duke is going to beat Gordon Freeman, personally. He's
someone that people actually recognize... and Gordon has been an
absolute FAILURE against those. I'm still angry I took Gordon to come

If his match with Sora proved anything, it's that Gordon Freeman is far
from the lovable chump we used to know him as. He's got legitimate
strength now and he's likely going to do a number on his fourpack (the

Gordon always has a winnable match, but 5 out of 6 times, he failed. Gordon before HL2 and Gordon after HL2 are very different things. After HL2, Gordon's broke 40% on Leon who is an upper midcarder. Then he beat Phoenix handily before almost breaking 40% on Post KH2 Sora. Gordon isn't some loser anymore and people need to realize that. --- Demyx is better than Axel. I don't like Haley Scarnato |

Backtracking a little bit--when did everyone decide Meta Knight was going to be fodder? And why? I understand the comparison to Proto Man...but I think the analogy works better if you use Zero instead. I'm still picking Sephiroth > Peach, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if we got Sephiroth > Meta Knight here. ...I'm hoping for Sephiroth > CATS, of course.
