... Anyways, if Ryu keeps this up, I might even give him a small crack at Bowser next round. Right now he's almost pushing his 2k5 percent against Bowser, but with 2 other Nintendo character against him. That's pretty damn impressive no matter how you slice it. it's impossible to tell here, but I'm almost regretting my change of
Ryu to round 4 back to Auron > Bowser. Bowser is REALLY sucking it
up here -- come next update, the closest margin will be between Bowser
and Mewtwo. yeah, Ryu's going to drop in the morning and daytime
relative to how he's rolling right now, but 100 votes per update is no

The percentage gap Ryu has now looks a whole lot better than it will actually end up being. The morning vote is terrible
to him, and if Bowser isn't enough with the day vote, I'm sure Mewtwo
will be. Ryu will still end up winning comfortably -- by votes -- but
the percentage will end up being much closer than it is now. --- Experiment status report update: Metroid project 'Dread' is nearing the final stages of completion. |

This is making me feel a lot better about my Cloud > Ryu pick
(granted the tough part is getting Auron > Ryu). I didn't need Ryu
to simply win today, I needed him to dominate... and so far he is.
Granted the percentages will definitely be closer than they are now,
but Ryu is dangerously close to hitting the same % he got in his match

Yeah. I'm surprised at how poorly Bowser's doing right now. I'm sure a
lot of it could be attributed to Mewtwo and Toad stealing away his
votes, but it's still not too good for him. It might be that this kind
of format just doesn't lend itself well to him. Lacks that big
"favorite" status and such. Guess we'll see next round, though. I think

Ryu's looking like he can push 41-42% before the morning vote. I can't
see Nintendo bringing him down under 38% even with his horrible
mornings. No matter how you slice it, this is impressive. If anything

It looks like Ryu's strong fanbase was real after all. I don't see why anyone is still high on Bowser. He's performing poorly here no matter how you look at it, villians have performed poorly in these multiple character polls, and if there's going to be any significant SFF next round, it would be between him and Shadow. --- HMMMmmmMMMMMmmmmm............... |

Right now this is leaning towards "Fighting game fans will vote Fighting game characters over everyone." But even so, Ryu is looking....pretty rediculous. --- And if we armed them all with two swords, we'd have four times the votes! |

everyone should stop judging this performance until the day vote hits.
Ryu is doing great, he's gonna break 40%, etc etc, but when that day
vote comes... if he's still above 38% at the end of the poll, I'll call him a serious competitor to Bowser next round. As much as I like to make fun of BT, and believe me I do, you would think some of Ryu's support would be siphoned away by Mewtwo and Toad, instead of it virtually only hurting Bowser. I don't think he'll end quite this high, but I can legitimately see him
finishing with 38% of the vote (he has 38.58 now!) if he continues to

You could probably cook up a four pack with Ryu "breaking" the Noble Nine if you put enough SFF in there. You can do that in a fourpack with almost anyone, not just Ryu. Just have Link/Mario/Samus there. You have to go pretty low in the X-stats before Samus gets anything higher than fourth. Shadow probably breaks the Noble Nine in that matchup... --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |
