I'm not afraid of Pac-Man. not only will he suffer from Mario, but I
don't think he has that many hardcore fans besides the ones that
already voted Mario. --- Today: Bowser > Ryu - Vote: Mewtwo Tomorrow: Sephiroth > CATS - Vote: Meta-Knight - Points: 24/28. |

Hey, if this format allows a jobber like Ocelot to beat Jill Valentine,
surely Big Boss can beat the weakest Pac-Man we will ever see. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Fox > Wario... I'd be kind of surprised if it went any other way
actually. Granted it's possible, but I actually feel really good about
it. I too would have taken Fox > Mewtwo previous to the contest, but
right now I'd definitely be taking Mewtwo > Fox. --- Explicit Content. I wish Lei Fang were my mom. I'd like drug her and feel her up and stuff. - Ken |

a "jobber"? as in, the guy who's approximately as strong as Jill? Revolver Ocelot (2005v) VS Jill Valentine (2004c) Revolver Ocelot has a strength of 23.66. Jill Valentine has a strength of 22.13. Revolver Ocelot wins with 53.23% of the vote! A win of 4,951 with 76,569 total votes cast. ??? --- THE ORDER MATTERS?!?!?!?!?! now playing: Jeanne d'Arc |

Man, I kinda feel bad for Wander. Not only does he have no chance to advance, but he got royally screwed on the picture. TuRtLe ~~~ 28/32 in the contest. Next pick: Sephiroth > Peach BlAcK TuRtLe. The cream of Zero fanboyism |

Fox > Wario Fox, by far and away, has the most going for him just with his SNES and 64 games, as well as the SSB appearances. Wario has versions of Wario Ware on every active Nintendo console. It's just hard to see where Banjo and Falcon can get the support needed to beat out the other two. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |
ExThaNemesis | Posted 9/10/2007 3:55:00 PM | message detail |
Uh, Ocelot's not that big of a jobber. Big Boss is, though... and Pac is still going to advance. Fox > Wario... I'd be kind of surprised if it went any other way actually. Granted it's possible, but I actually feel really good about it. I too would have taken Fox > Mewtwo previous to the contest, but right now I'd definitely be taking Mewtwo > Fox. I'm hoping that the Mario support is out in full. Though it should be worth noting that next round I have Sephiroth > Fox. And I'd have taken Mewtwo > Fox before and after today.... especially after today though. He really had impressed like no other, and I just want to CHOKE Bacon for putting him in that Nintendo mess. --- ~*~ExThaNemesis~*~ I do a lot of pushups and situps, and I drink plenty of juice. Wario has versions of Wario Ware on every active Nintendo console. The Wario Land series is one of the most underrated hidden gems that Nintendo ever put out. Especially Wario Land 3. |
greatone10 | Posted 9/10/2007 3:56:47 PM | message detail |
Ocelot never seems that bad in the X-stats, but he has some shameful
performances under his belt that I just can't see Jill doing. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Falcon looks the best there, and Wario got his "classix" shot. http://www.gamefaqs.com/shared/cb6/cb6-11.jpg augh Big Boss...well, with Old Ocelot can do well, BB can pull it off too. http://www.gamefaqs.com/shared/cb6/cb6-12.jpg Phoenix got his best pose. Oh, and it looks like Mewtwo dominated the after-school vote, while
Bowser actually dropped. Again, gives me more faith in Ryu next round,
though it's still pretty much a toss-up between him, Bowser and Auron. --- Moltar Status: The Analysis Crew...believe Bowser/Mewtwo/Ryu/Toad - Bracket: Ryu > Bowser - Vote: Bowser (24/28) |

Unless you people were hoping for a Naked Snake picture (which would result in Big Boss easily
stomping Pac by a 10 point margin or more), that picture of Big Boss
should have been expected. And Pac-Man doesn't exactly have bad
pictures (c'mon, who's not gonna recognize him?). My opinion of Big
Boss is unchanged, and I fear very little for him. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

Every thing Mewtwo has done has been awesome in this match, and
everything he's done has made me want to SMACK Bacon even more. Augh,
Mewtwo could've done some seriously awesome damage. The best thing is
that he could be INSANELY strong and we wouldn't even know it because
of SFF. --- ~*~ExThaNemesis~*~ I do a lot of pushups and situps, and I drink plenty of juice. This bold part is here until the New York Yankees are in first place in the AL East again. 7/2/07 |

Mewtwo is definitely the biggest surprise of the contest so far. I
expected a lot from him but this goes beyond even my expectations. He's
probably going to get 25% in a poll with Bowser, Ryu, and Toad.
Frikking unreal. --- Demyx is better than Axel. I don't like Haley Scarnato |
KamikazePotato | Posted 9/10/2007 4:09:21 PM | message detail |
If Mewtwo keeps rising and Bowser keeps dropping, we're looking at them
being less than 4% apart. That would make Mewtwo look really good. --- doo doo doo I got no sig |
greatone10 | Posted 9/10/2007 4:11:17 PM | message detail |
The best thing for Mewtwo would be for Bowser to take 1st next round,
proving how much strength they actually sapped from each other. Either way, we need to see him in an non-SFF situation next time. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

I hate work sometimes because I'm always late when it comes to giving
my two cents on matches and usually everyone has already said it. Yeah, everyone knew Mewtwo was going to drag Bowser's percentage down...nobody believed it would happen to this degree. We need to see him in a non-SFF match because I'm now very, very curious as to how strong Mewtwo is because he shows no signs of Pokemon weakness we've seen in the past. --- Today's Subliminal Thought Is: |

Mewtwo isn't surprising me, really. I had him at 22% - 25% isn't that
much different, really. it's 3% I had going to Bowser, and nobody knew
how the SFF would fall in this match. I still feel good about Auron
> Bowser... well, as good as I did before this match. I would have
liked Bowser to be a little closer, but this isn't exactly some
character battle tragedy. --- THE ORDER MATTERS?!?!?!?!?! now playing: Jeanne d'Arc |

I still feel as good about Bowser > Auron (and I had Ryu >
Bowser, so I have no need to fear). It's just not that hard to believe
that Mewtwo and Toad are being just that big of leeches on Bowser. The
fact that Mewtwo may actually have legit strength isn't helping Bowser
either. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Mewtwo isn't surprising me, really. I had him at 22% - 25% isn't that much different, really. Same here. Mewtwo and Bowser are doing about what I predicted. It's Ryu that slightly overdid my estimations (even if it's at Toad's expense). I have to put much faith in Ryu, darn it! own potential strength if Mewtwo was stronger. If he was not, I
apologize. --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |
swirIdude | Posted 9/10/2007 4:47:27 PM | message detail |
I see no way that Banjo or C. Falcon will compete in that match. It all
comes down to Fox and Wario to see who is strongest; important because
whoever is first here is most likely to advance to the 3rd round with
Sephiroth. I have Fox > Wario, but it could easily go the other way. --- *votes for Meta-Knight to help CATS win* ~Leonhart |

To clarify, I was saying that Mewtwo being strong is being that much more of a burden on Bowser in this match. For the idea of Bowser losing votes to Mewtwo due to SFF, that's not really true, as strength indicates more of an independent fanbase. Though it could certainly burden Bowser if Mewtwo got up to his vote total. That would be harsh! --- *votes for Meta-Knight to help CATS win* ~Leonhart |

You know...in all honesty, when I made my bracket, I barely took SFF
into consideration at all for some reason. I made it in too much a
