Ryu impressing means that last year was all him, and not Mega Man
dropping. It may not be concrete evidence, but everything we've seen
since Sonic/Snake has led to Mega Man being at the same level he was in

I realize Ryu is only winning because if the split (if any of you
bothered to read my analysis you'd know that), but if he was as low as
people are saying he should be because of Mega Man being a jobber, than

2005. Everything since 2005 has been in the form of four-way polls. They're ALL dubious, and trying to pull concrete evidence from them as "proof" - especially something like this, with double SFF - is *foolish*. They can just as well mean absolutely nothing. So what happens if Mega Man ends up getting killed against Samus? This does give me some confidence for Bowser > Auron. If you give
all of Toad's votes to Bowser and say 70% of Mewtwo's support to the

I had Ryu > Bowser for a while, but ultimately went against it due
to the amount that Bowser won by in 05. Not saying Bowser is out of it

You can't even come close to saying that, let alone with any certainty. For chrissakes, you don't even have to look further than my analysis to see that your conclusion is drawn from NOTHING. This is how I see it. I think Bowser obviously picks up the bracket vote, but even in spite of that Ryu is putting a good 4% between them. Ryu will only get stronger until the day vote starts. --- Eff Dee |

Bowser's getting dominated by SFF - considering that, he's doing as well as can be expected. Bowser will be back to full strength in round 2, so Auron > Bowser still looks good to me. Mewtwo is the most impressive of the four so far. Considering his competition and SFF, anything over 20% is respectable. Toad's really sucking, though. fighting for the day vote. The first part is quite true...*refreshes*...maybe. The second, though, just means that the weak day character is going to die come daytime. This does give me some confidence for Bowser > Auron. If you give
all of Toad's votes to Bowser and say 70% of Mewtwo's support to the
Koopa King, he'd be roasting Ryu on a stick right now. And yet Bowser would still be doing worse than he did against Ryu in '05. Can't see how this could possibly be a good sign for him against Auron. |
