well, Bowser's got the NPH and likely the bracket vote behind him, and
Ryu just slowly eliminated his lead and built up a little cushion of
his own regardless. Ryu's morning is legendarily bad, but if he can
survive there, he should be good to go. I am liking his chances here.
Bowser is pretty poor for a Nintendo character during the day -
probably better than Ryu by a wee bit, but not by a ton. if Ryu gets
this next update and a few more, I'll feel very confident. --- "where the heck does diablo get his votes from on weekends? He should be losing because christians are fresh from the church and voting against evil" -voltch |

Ryu looks like he is going to get that leed. Bowser started the first
minutes with a 30 vote lead. Ryu has already turned it around into a 30
vote lead for himself. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Solid Snake had about 2,000 votes on Bowser before the day vote, where
he made a vicious comeback. Unless Ryu breaks that barrier, I'll be

Why is this different from Marcus > Kefka? Kefka was in the lead at this point too after all. 1.) The bracket vote was behind Kefka. Here, it's behind Bowser. 2.) Marcus has a much more extreme vote swing from night to day than Bowser. Bowser's a day character and Ryu's a night one, but it's nothing to the vast extreme of FFVI and Xbox. 3.) The difference between this and Kefka/Fenix is that Kefka has the worst

25 people fell off the Top 50 today. That's a lot worse than I expected
considering the match was fairly easy and you could get it right
without knowing the rules. Andres_Moros, Babus_Swain, Cynrascal,
JohnnytheSkin2, Warmaster_Lah, Kronos174, Lord_Cryptos, Kefka13,
Till_Lindemann6, Chilikorndog, ajamal09, 1Solid_Snake1, JoeUUGGHH,
Jason144, SonicFireStorm, Melchion, Sparky115S, BDunning,
ookitarepanda, BlaZe_of_Sorrow, devon_v, Shinmaru007, VinceXII,
blahermanz and DIMKYA did not have Auron over Shadow as the winners of
