Contest Stats and Discussion - Part 470

And once again, I fail to predict Jill Valentine again. She is always the bane of my bracket. Oh well, Fenix was likely to beat the winner of this match anyway.

Well at this time against Peach Jill was in the middle of taking control of the match. While Ocelot was on top against pac-man before sharply declining.

The next 2 hours are crucial.

Five hours into the match with Pac-Man Ocelot was in the middle of a tailspin that consisted of him forking over what little left of his paltry lead to the blob (if you wanna pull it back 3 hours to compensate for the time switch, that's your preogative). Meanwhile Jill had seized the lead from Peach (thus was WELL into her best time,as she had already made the comeback) and was taking a sizable one of her own.

Jill coming back would be simply stunning. It would defy all past trends, and as much as we hope for that to happen time and again it just doesn't...

GameFAQs looks so good on a really large display, half the screen being grey space is sexy.

Also what on earth is Ocelot doing?

Jill is not as strong as she appeared in '06. It was a false reading of sorts. '06 gave us many such readings.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2014

Considering the heightened FFVII competition, the thought that Liquid > Ocelot, and Jill added to the poll, this truly is an outstanding performance from Ocelot so far.

Jill should have started winning about half the updates an hour ago, or at least stalling 75% of them.

Yeh I know its a saturday and so they kiddy vote is sleeping in but if she doesn't make a move soon I will be hard pressed to believe she can do much more than break even during the day.

Go ocelot ^_^

well, Pac-Man swung the match 2500 votes in his favor against Ocelot. with Jill and Ocelot battling over 37% of the vote, a 1300 vote comeback is possible - especially since Jill has been stalling for the past hour. however, if she doesn't start making a slow, steady push soon, her comeback will look increasing unlikely.

I guarantee you if people had paid more attention to the rules there would be more perfect brackets, and overall our fellow contestants would be doing better. And yeah, some unexpected things have happened along the way.

The number of perfect brackets probably wouldn't change. You don't pick KOS-MOS over Arthas or Diablo in her match without having at least some knowledge of the contests, and if you do you probably cared enough to read the rules. We might get one or two more, but I doubt it.

Overall though, yeah, people wouldn't be doing nearly as terribly.

It's nice to wake up to a pretty safe bet of keeping my -2. Toss in the guaranteed 4 with Auron and almost guaranteed 2/4 Bowser/Ryu, my bracket shouldn't take any more bad hits for a while.
