If the match got close, rallying/potential cheating would come to
Kefka's rescue much like it did for him before against Vercetti and

It's not going to stay close though -- the match won't be within 1,000
votes again. If Kefka/Ocelot was 50-50, Kefka would benefit from
hardcore support much moreso than Vercetti. Also, Kefka has beaten Pac-Man in a close match before. I find Kefka and Ocelot practically equal and just because he lost to
Pac-Man doesn't mean he'd lose to Kefka. Pac-Man could have very well
gained even a tiny bit. I'd take him over Kefka now anyway.. 34% on Bowser puts him on par with Chun-Li. that's good enough to be equal with Kefka if you ask me. --- Today: Kefka > Marcus - Vote: Kefka Tomorrow: Cloud > Ocelot - Vote: Ocelot - Points: 14/16. |

Holy freaking crap at the vote swing. I figured Fenix would take the
lead but Kefka put up a bomb of epic proportions. Pushing a 3000 vote
lead in just a few hours? Oh man... aughaughaugh WHY DID I CHANGE! THE ONLY THING THAT SOFTENS THIS BLOW IS FENIX TO ROUND 3! Marcus is already closing in at putting a 3% gap between them... by the
time this is over the percentages might equate to that of a 57-43 match
or something in that area. That would put fenix right around jill,
making quite an interesting match in round 2. As far as kefka goes
though, no way he does anything in that match with cloud there to sff

Tom Nook is actually beating someone, a ToS character is getting
crushed, a Square-Enix character has completely choked and XBox 360
character is well ahead in the poll. all of those except for the last are surprising really. First off the first two go hand in hand. ToS is terrible and Nook is almost as terrible... Kefka is probably the worst character to ever advance in a match and people(including myself) continue to put faith in him. Kairi/Claire last year is one, where Claire had a 508 vote lead and which Kairi ended up winning by 4496 votes. Castlevania made it to 1199 and ended up losing by 3416 to Kingdom Hearts. Looking at the poll updates for that match, it looks like kuja's biggest lead was 439. Close enough I guess, although that comeback started really early, which is why it was such a huge turnaround by the looks of things. --- sig |
