| Those Tales fans should stop nominating so many TOS characters into the contest. According to past contest, all of them are basically at fodder level. Now you got 5 TOS Characters making it into this contest and yet none seems to be coming out of round 1 alive. |

For the record, I was more banking on Fenix weakness than Zelos

Either Fenix is going to grab this lead now, and never look back, or
Kefka's going to slowly build it, to a probably Fenix comeback

I've been thinking about what the results so far mean for the future. I think it's safe to say Lloyd isn't too much of a threat in his little fourpack, making my Jak pick look good. And Zelos being this bad really makes Scorpion/Midna look like crap. I guess Tingle at least had a joke behind his votes. Midna just bombed. So my Frog to round 3 pick looking good. I don't think I've ever had a bracket with this good of an outlook since I started entering these things. I'm pretty shocked that people considered Zelos>Marcus. I thought
Zelos could finish ahead of Nook, but knew they'd be closer than Zelos
was to Kefka/Marcus. As for this Zelos is close to Kratos talk...well, I highly doubt it, but I love the possible glimmer of hope this gives Frog :) Earlier I was thinking Frog would lead Scorpion the first 15 minutes to hour, then slowly Scorpion would pull away and win comfortably. TOS fans will vote Kratos over Agent 47, but not Zelos over a character that is FAR MORE GENERIC? ToS fans are also FF6 fans by law. They're voting Kefka over Zelos. Jill wasn't in RE4 right? Which means all she has outside of her PS1
games are the REmakes on the cube which supposedly didn't sell that
great? Actually, this is looking really good for Marcus. Jill and Ocelot are both PS1 characters, and if the whole FF7-PS1 SFF thing holds up, they might be weakened just enough by Cloud for Marcus to slip by.
