And wait...I just scanned the board a bit...do people think Kratos is going to do better with the after-school vote than Midna is? <_<;

At that match, MC also got a very decent advantage over Frog. He eventually won. Well, he was helped because he started to overcome earlier and he didn't win by much. But seriously, compare the votes Axel got between updates at 3-6 PM and the one Frog got. Axel got sometimes more than 50, while Frog was near, but never reached 50.

What do you guys think the chances of Zolom breaking 10% are?

Um like 0.1%...? Anyway, on that match we will get a neck to neck battle between Jill and Ocelot, and if history prevails, Jill will loss again by 27 votes... >_>

it's not unreasonable for Kratos to get it.. he did kinda dominate Diablo during the daytime. Sheena rocked Jill too, though anyone can do that.

they'll probably go 50/50 like they have been for a long time.

Well, I guess it's feasible, but people are talking like Kratos has a chance to overtake Midna with it.

That's an even bigger vote gap than Frog/Axel yesterday, and Midna's not likely to collapse worse than Frog, and Kratos isn't exactly a KH character.

The good part will be in Marcus and Zelos IMO.

Marcus > Kefka?
I don't see it. I know Kefka isn't exactly "top-notch", but he's getting the full Square backing and Marcus only has the XBox 360 crowd to help him out. It'd be quite the upset if Marcus were to place 1st, but I don't see it happening.

I haven't really believed in Marcus > Kefka since that VC poll, but I didn't change it because I wanted to be on the leaderboard. At least I was successful in that regard. And who knows, Marcus might even surprise and win. After all, Kefka always seems to find new ways to disappoint.

I have to agree with what Zylo said on the first page. My bracket and hours of entertainment aside, it was great to see Kingdom Hearts lose a close match. As sad as it sounds, it almost felt like a victory for my generation over the 10 year olds of today.

And all that last night proved is that the more liked character won. Axel got his votes through ignorance of who Frog and Kerri are, and Frog's successful rally proved there are people our age that aren't going to watch our characters ride off peacefully into the sunset.

Ulti..... there was no one sided cheating. Unless you count people getting the message out to CT fans who wouldn't have voted otherwise.

I don't know about you, but when someone posts a link to a blank page with "Girl or Boy" on it, I usually ignore it and flame the moron who posted it. I have a hard time believing anybody is THAT stupid. Frog had rally topics on LL, the Chrono Compendium and several other CT fansites, all likely to vote for the old-school character over some loser nob from the lamest series Square ever shot out of their collective anuses.

I have a feeling Ulti only had a problem with it because it screwed over his bracket some more. If you were to go back to 2k4, I doubt anybody was calling Frog a cheater in either of his close matches, so why the double standard?

I don't really see why this is such a huge issue. Cheating has been around since the first contest. If it was really a detrimental problem, I'm sure something would be done about it.

It is only an internet popularity contest, after all.

Random question, since this applies to me after today's match. If you pick the right character in the wrong order, does it show up on your bracket as a color other than red or green?

It's not the fact that you're whining about your bracket (we're all guilty of that at some point or another) so much as the fact that you're whining about a miniscule cheating method that was likely being used to farm Axel votes to boot. If you want to complain about the rallies ruining contest integrity, go right a head, but it's pretty damn stupid to blame Frog's comeback on a shottily made script on a geocities site given how many rallies were up at the time. Notice how Frog's major gains didn't start until the last hour when he: A: would be expected to start cutting anyways
B: Had at least 30 different rallies going to help him pull off the victoly.
