This is late, but wow 2200 votes comeback by Axel in 8 hours, but
countered by Frog's 400 votes comeback in an hour... Looks like Frog
never fails to cause uproar in the board but he also never fails us
(pun intended). Hope he put another great showing against Scorpion in
the next round and win it again! Anyway, it seems clear that FACE box art pic = more strength. These three consecutive matches should be a good enough evidence for that claim. Zelos is only SLIGHTLY less popular than Kratos. Plus no Nintendo SFF, regardless of how small it is in this match. If Zelos doesn't secure AT LEAST 25% of the vote, I will be surprised. --- It's not trolling. It's Justice. AIR CONDITIONER. |

As expected Midna fails horribly. Just looked at yesterday and the
multiple topics about "is that Midna?" or "Midna's pic is not good"
(and you guys said this is one of the better Midna pics and I think I
agree with that. She is just ugly to begin with, sorry to say that...).
Everyone hope to see a cute little girl or furry as Midna because she
is from Zelda game, and no, most wouldn't give a damn about searching
for Midna pics in google. And now in the poll, there are no Zelda word
written around her and casuals won't recognise her. Like I said her
only hope is Nintendo fans (which are still a lot), because casuals, or

Scorpion just might be stronger than he's ever been, or at least on par
with his '02/'03 suggested strength. He's totally thrashing Kratos,
when one might've expected Kratos to hold his own better in this sort
of poll, if anything. Agent 47 isn't doing too shabby for being a, uh,
nobody. Midna...wow, that's disappointing. I mean, Ness nearly tied
with Scorpion against a common opponent, yet Midna can't even come
close! I wouldn't count out SBAllen looking into yesterday's either... he hasn't said anything, so he just might not have been working. I think you can all agree Frog cheated more? I thought Kratos Aurion used to loss to Diablo by over 10%. Or did I underestimate Diablo all this time? >_> I think you can all agree Frog cheated more? Yes, but I heard it is more about rallies in chrono forums, not vote stuffing. So is rallying = vote stuffing? Based on opponents, you can deduce that Scorpion is stronger than
Diablo. Kefka > Pac with 51%, so Diablo > Pac with 55%. Scorpion
beat Pac with 58%. (hey, they were different years, but I think we do

So you are saying Pac-Man = Kratos Aurion? Diablo is just overrated IMO. So what do you say about Midna vs Diablo? Midna > Diablo for me... oh wait Midna is way more overrated. I wouldn't be sure about Scorpion > Diablo 1v1, to be honest. These

Yeah, Agent 47 is doing quite well. He did have a new game come out
recently, so he's still a hit with the mainstream today, I think. If
someone like Agent 47 can do this well, Marcus Fenix should outdo that
by a good margin...maybe. I'd wager Agent 47 >>> Hitman, while
Gears of War >>> Marcus. Granted, Gears of War

OK, this is seriously annoying, I'm probably the biggest Scorpion fan
on the board, and he's going to cost me four points. Because there's no

I take Scorpion without question head-to-head, but in this format...
I'm not so sure. I'd probably take Scorpion again, as I think he'd do
better than Axel. I mean, I can't really see Axel getting 36% if he

I don't think we really know how strong Scorpion really is this year
because Midna is untested. I would pick Frog > Scorpion in this

Speaking of MC, chances are he faces Alucard in Round 2. There could be some huge vote swings there. --- Donkey Kong Country 2 for next Games contest. This line reserved for next Guru winner. Unless it's me, therefore reserving plenty of noms for Dixie/DKC2. |

Frog scored 30% on 2005 Samus while Axel only scored 30% on a much
weaker Megaman.(2005 Samus will most likely score 56%-58% on the 2006
Megaman.) Looking back at these, there is no reason for Frog to bomb so badly(almost lost to Axel) in yesterday match other than the reason Frog drops by a good margin this year. I will definitely take Scorpion over the weaker Frog in a 1 vs 1 match. As for this format, i will still take Scorpion but Frog can pull off a winning here just as easily. |

Okay first of all I just wake up and, Frog WON?!? Second of all, Midna, what the heck, you're from Zelda? I know I had no way of knowing your power, but come on! It's not even like Midna isn't a likable character either. How can Link pretty much win the whole contest but half his fans aren't even willing to help out Midna? I still wonder how Midna can be so weak, she's about the only Zelda
character who has a character, and it's not that TP wasn't a fantastic
game. But I guess she's to know and who the hell doesn't know who
Scorpion is? Oh shot I lost another point in this match. But the more of these polls I see, the more confident I get in Zelos, CATS, Pit, Thrall, Little Mac, Lloyd and Duke Nukem to advance, so hopefully I still will be in the game. --- Ngamer64: Zylo, you're making less sense every day. I never played TP before and everyone here told me that Midna is a very
likeable character in TP. Therefore i went to google for her pics, I
