To those people saying people shouldn't be calling matches after
what we just witness in the last hour, well, we've been around a lot
longer than that...I do agree people often jump to conclusions too much
after 5 minutes, but that's usually because known trends contradict

Wow..... so either Midna is a flop or Scorpion isn't. Not sure I'm ready to accept either of those scenarios. Hopefully Midna can do something with the day vote. Feels crappy to keep my perfect through the last 3 matches and lose it here to some jobber that hasn't been relevant since the mid 90's. Once again, stop calling matches 15 minutes into them. We don't know

This looks like a case of rallying to me, which, while frowned upon by
some, certainly isn't illegal. I rallied every single person I could.

argh, I almost went to Scorpion > Midna, but resisted. I know how you feel, reversing to Midna>Scorpion was the last change I made, and it felt like going to the dentist. It just felt wrong, but people made some convincing early cases for her...and then I just didn't feel like changing again, even though I wanted to. Not that I care about my bracket much, I just don't like it when my bracket contradicts what I really expect. My main qualm with Midna is that she's never had anything
approaching an appealing design, but Zeldafear is what made me give her
the nod here. Exactly! Her design just made me have very little faith in her, she just looks so blah. the nod here. Oh don't get me wrong. I certainly think Midna is well liked. But that doesn't mean she's going to automatically place higher than Scorpion on the average gamer's favorites list. I thought people were putting a little too much faith on the Zelda fanbase voting their character over anybody. Blah, I couldn't justify Scorpion > Midna because of Scorpion's
declining growth. I hate judging new characters or characters that have
just been in one match. Almost cost me last match and it certainly
costs me this one. I can call Vincent > Crono from a mile away but I
can't gauge Midna off anything ;( --- Feel my truth. |

I had Scorpion > Midna in my bracket from day one but Kratos beating

i will admit: i knew nothing about Midna and trusted the board on her
role in Twilight Princess. i should know better than to blindly trust

I didn't buy into it. Sure Midna is from one of the most popular games
out there recently, and on this site. But she's still WAY too new. Even
Tingle had like a decade to set in. Midna's not even a year old, so her
not having such a strong backing as the rest...I didn't see it. And with Sub Zero doing what he did last year, I just figured I'd go with Scorp > Midna. --- "Opinions are like butts, little girl. Scorpion in Round 3 is probably the most logical pick based off what I've seen so far, though it's really just too hard to tell. I would have expected that most gamers would have been familiar with Midna based off of TP, though. I kinda wonder about that game... --- delicious cats Commit it to memory. |

Kratos is not going to beat Midna. remember, Tales characters have sick

Why are people taking this to mean that Midna sucks again? EVERY
character can't just raise their hand and be a midcarder. Everything
falls into place. Just because Midna isn't beating Scorpion, it doesn't
mean that she sucks and isn't liked. She's just not more liked than
Scorpion (don't want to speak too soon though <_<;). But you get

Gah... I'm so angry with myself. If Midna beat Scorpion I would have
been happy for my brackets sake, but I still voted for Scorp, and I
bracket vote like all hell. That's how much I thought and wanted him to
win today. I had him over Midna for so long (last match I changed), and
in the last week I kept thinking about it and saying "nah, stop
changing it back and forth everyone is probably right and Zelda will
unfortunately go on again." Even though I really didn't think so. I
guess I can still take solace in Samus > Scorp though. If I thought

(then I saw one person, I think Heroic Viktor, say otherwise just today) I've never played Twilight Princess so I had no idea. cyko: i will admit: i knew nothing about Midna and trusted the board on her role in Twilight Princess. i should know better than to blindly trust the stats topic!! Yeah, same here. Though, I think trusting the stats topic blindly is more hit than miss :) It's just that you feel worse with the latter than you feel good with the former. As for round 3, right now I think Scorpion should be the favorite, but it's hard to call. Frog could well win, but Scorpion seems to be the safer pick I think.
