I wouldn't be so sure about Frog having a second night vote push, by
the way. Axel and Sora both bled Mega Man's percentage all the way up
to midnight. And Claire didn't start going down in percentage against
Rikku (a *very* strong night vote character) until there was 1 hour
left in the poll. Axel could gain in votes all the way up until 11 PM
EST, and 2004 is a long time ago. And it's worth noting that in Frog's

I also enjoy the many many changes in the posts here relative to the
latest update. We don't need to hear "OMG AXEL DOING GOOD WITH THE
AFTER SCHOOL VOTE!?!? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!?!" Really, the only surprise here is how close Axel managed to come to Frog, and even then it's not too big of a surprise given Crono's big drop last year. As for as trends go, everything has gone as most of use here predicted. One thing I'll say, is this is another nail in the "Mega Man dropped" coffin. Axel impressing and a Crono Trigger character disappointing both point to a steady Sonic/Mega Man and a (sadly) decreased Crono. If I had to take someone to break the noble nine now, it would probably be Crono. Barring any remakes/ports of course. What do you mean that Frog can't make this up? At this point he doesn't
have to make anything up. Sure Axel is still rolling along, and is more
than likely going to take the lead, but really, at this point it's far
from over. We all thought this was over when Frog had a 1900 vote lead
before, and last night when he was on an absolute tear, and took a
1,000 vote lead in absolutely no time. Axel can
stop doing this at any second. I don't particularly think it's going to
happen, but Axel is still far from a lock. Does he have an advantage at

He can't simply continue this "stall/fall/stall/fall" cycle, especially
when he won't be doing much more than stalling and making tiny gains
