I don't know what's worse, the ToC or the fact that you don't need
to be a real character to enter these things anymore. So if anyone on
board 8 asks, no, I'm not going back there. If someone needs to use an excuse like that to stay away from the board, more power to him. Why would Kirby SFF L-block?! I'm not seeing the logic. it's just.. looking at how bad it did against Zelda, Kirby will steal some Tetris votes. not a lot, but they're both on the original Game Boy quite a lot. --- Network Premiere of: "GA All The Way." With this new format, I have a feeling we won't be seeing steve around here for very long. And what new format do you mean? The 4 way voting thing? HA! This actually favors the Sage of Board 8, who had one of the longest running Perfects in the Series Contest last year, angering scores of noobs in the process. You could not possibly have forgotten this little tidbit, could ya? :) And in addition to that, my time away from the boards since Resident Evil beat my upset pick of Street Fighter has allowed me to do extensive research and calculations on all of these characters who are present, and many others such as Dr. W who did not make it, all while preparing myself for the long overdue glory and GameFAQS immortality I am destined to achieve! Regarding Slow...I think he's just looking for reasons to stay off of
the boards for the most part. I remember when he came back after his
first big break from the board that it did him lots of wonders, and
this is the second minor thing that's driven him away from the
contests...even after the first thing has been fixed for him. Besides,
there's double the characters for this contest...you've gotta expect
some joke characters given the size of some rallies Board 8 has. Pretty
sure Slow is just trying to keep away now. Regarding L-Block...it's not so much what LoZ did to Tetris that's scary, it's that Kirby is really well-known and isn't a PS1/2-star. That gives Laharl a bit more room to breath while L-Block is struggling for votes outside of simple recognition. Had Kirby been replaced with somebody less immediately recognizable and on the PS1/2, even if they had the same strength (like Kratos), then L-Block would have an even better chance. As is, decent chance to gamble on...but it's a tough one. --- PETITION: a "Contest Suggestions" board. if Kirby was replaced with a different character that wasn't well
well-known, I'd definitely have it in second, but Kirby IS going to
take somewhat the votes L-Block would have received otherwise. if Zelda

Your logic doesn't seem...well, logical. Yes, Zelda wiped the floor
with Tetris - but L-block doesn't have to beat Link or even Kirby. It
has to beat Laharl and some other guy. There's no reason for SFF just because both Kirby and L-block are well-known. Game Boy quite a lot. That's the worst comparison I've ever seen. For starters, Kirby is not Zelda and doesn't have nearly as much Nintendo vote sucking power. Secondly, Tetris wasn't a joke character whereas L-block is. Trying to apply SFF in this situation is pointlessly stupid. I guess this is the best place to ask for it, so, what are raws? I have been searching today at x-stats. At first, I thought raw was nothing, but today I discovered this: Tifa (not raw): 41.01 Tifa (raw): 45.4 What's that? And this, too Jay Solano (raw): 58.4 (or something like that) Not raw: 2.83 I guess what it is this, but I want a complete explaination about raws --- Onimimi's films rules! |

Pac-Man isn't a joke character though... he's a character that everyone
knows who had been in every character battle up until 2005. We're

Yeah, I'm not believe this SFF thing. Replace Kirby with Link and L-block would still get a similar score.
