Samus SFF'd Isaac, duh. And Felix is more popular with GS fans, isn't he? Big fad? The only place that objection site was popular was right here on Board 8. I don't believe I've ever seen Phoenix even mentioned outside of this board. y'know, when it comes to the figuring out which fodder will take second
place in the super-fodder matches (Luigi's, Dante's, Kirby's, Link's,
etc.) I'm just looking at which option is the funniest option because
it's the stupidest character to vote for. do you honestly think that
many people voted for Nidoran F or Tingle because they genuinely liked
the character? no - they vote for Tingle or Nidoran F because it's
funny. how else do you explain Duke Milk'em's surprisingly high
performance? that's why i'm going with Tingle; that's why i'm going with Matt; that's why i'm going with L-Block; and that's why i'm going with Bidoof - because they are all the funny options for people to vote for. and when you have three characters that very few people care deeply about, i feel that the funniest option will get the most votes. and btw - isn't it painful that Mewtwo could possibly be the only Pokemon in the contest that doesn't make it to the second round? >_> --- I support the following SC2K6 characters: L-Block, Phoenix Wright, Magus, Agent J, Vincent Valentine, Miles Edgeworth, HK-47, Zero, Kefka |

I'm not even wasting my time thinking about garbage like the Jakpack of
Suck or the Mudkip Trio. I'm with mnm here: I'm not really worried
about winning, I'm more or less waiting to watch how this plays out.
the only thing I'm straining my brain over is that whole division 5

ok, i am also FINALLY caught up on the stats topics. and this is the post that caught my eye: Buzzup Posted 8/22/2007 12:06:10 PM message detail I recently had a strange thought. What if Sonic was announced in Brawl on the Tokyo Game Show? I distinctly remember Reggie saying that they still had something in store for Brawl, and the TGS seems like the best place for some big announcement. The TGS takes place early contest, so the trailer would have time to sink in. So if Sonic was announced, would any of you take him over Snake? that's an interesting thought, although Sonic doesn't really have a whole lot of room to improve. however, what about other games that could be announced at TGS? what if the next Kingdom Hearts game is announced and it's a video showing that it's Sora and Riku picking up from the *ending* of Kingdom Hearts 2? that would be sweet. The GameFAQs boards aren't even one of the top ten sites linking to Objection!, according to Alexa. Just to comment on this, GameFAQs messsage board links aren't hyperlinks, and so Alexa can't track the referrer. So even if gamefaqs was #1 by a lot it would still probably not show up. If Sonic is announced, I would still take Snake over him. The reason Snake increased so damn much from just a trailer is because he's been absent from Nintendo systems for the most part since the original Metal Gear (I don't think Twin Snakes sold well, but correct me if I'm wrong) as opposed to Sonic who's had a good share of games on the Gamecube/Wii. Sonic is already so aligned with Nintendo.. Snake was probably the one

that have (next to) no application to actually predicting results. I'll
do some right now. =D Number of new characters: 35 Number of new characters that didn't exist since before SC2K6 (i.e. Midna, Vaan): 10 Number of characters only from SC2K2: 4 (Simon Belmont, PaRappa, Little Mac, Spyro the Dragon) Number of characters only from SC2K3: 4 (Wario, Tom Nook, Raiden, Isaac) Number of characters only from Sp2K5 villain contest: 3 (Pyramid Head, Vergil, Ridley) Number of SC2K6 females that didn't return: 20...yes, that's right. Hang on. In that Snake vs. Kratos vs. Kirby vs. Ryu/Riku/Nightmare
division final...if Nightmare was to get there, is it foolish to assume
that Kirby takes second? Nightmare might get the violent juices flowing
more than Kratos for people who have played both games (so would Ryu H,
to be fair), and Snake will always be on hand to suck away some
