And I'm still shocked at no Tifa or Seifer. Tifa for obvious reasons,
and Seifer because he was somehow beat out by Nathan Hale, Haseo and

Thoughts as I look at the bracket for the first time. - The first fourpack. Knuckles... Rikku... Vaan... Yoshi??? I'd have trouble predicting one on one matches between several of these characters... I have no freaking clue how this is going to go! - Cloud's back! Cloud vs. Midgar Zolom? Oh dear. - Division 4. Link, two board 8 fads, and someone I've never heard of? Link's breaking 80% in his first match. Book it. - Parappa's back!! Sadly he's going to get dominated, but it's cool he's back. Why couldn't he have gotten Luigi's placement? (I know, he'd probably still lose to Pit and Tingle) - *Guybrush* is back, and Ecco still didn't make the bracket?? Who is it who keeps nominating the guy? Is he secretly Ceej/SB's favorite character or something? At the moment I'm kind of excited. I don't think I like this as well as 1 on 1 overall, but as a change of pace, it's better than most of the alternatives. Aeris Akuma Geno Squall Here's hoping Squall SFF's Aeris enough for Akuma to steal a win! Also, XD Wesker getting to round two. I love how some are so stacked, and then you have.. hardcore Xbox fans will throw at him. That's what I'm thinking. Characters like Master Chief should thrive in a setting like this, where anti-votes really don't mean much of anything. Those folks who would vote a character over anyone are going to benefit a lot here. --- Believe |

I can't believe how stacked that one match is, where it ends up being
like Link/Sephiroth/Mario/Crono, and it's SO early especially when you
compare it to the other matches that will probably be happening at the

wow. okay. just going to ramble. this thing's a huge SFF-fest. as you go further and further, more and more Nintendo/Square characters advance, and this becomes more "who's sucking away your votes?" than character strength. take this potential fourpack later on: Luigi Ganondorf Yuna Master Chief now, Ganondorf is clearly the strongest character of the four.. but I could see him finishing last in a setup like this. or he could finish first. who knows? Ganon's never been the best with the ol' SFF and he's got another character sucking from him.. along with the single greatest character in multi-option polls relative to his strength and a lone Square character. I would not be surprised at any result in this division. then there's Squall/Aeris/Akuma, which could potentially split enough votes to give Akuma the win.. but I wouldn't count on it. not at all. but it's possible! the end brackets are pretty crazy too. Link/Mega Man/Samus? normally I'd give it to Mega Man, but it's post-MP3 and MM didn't look so great last year. still, I'm tempted. Clinkeroth is in one bracket and not in the finals, which is cool.. but Cloud/Link still blitz this thing in the finals unless Snake pulls some crazy, crazy crap. and I'm not buying that. hmm. interesting ideas. really difficult to predict, but not gimmicky enough that we're reaching for characters. kinda laughing about the Tifa snub when we get guys like Matt or, uh, that one dude who I have no idea who it is.
