1. Who will be the strongest Non-Noble 9 member of this Contest? Vincent. 2. Who will be the strongest new character in this contest?(Hell you can put Raiden if you like since he's basically new since being SFF'd shouldn't count for anything.) Probably Raiden. Midna is the only one I see really having a chance of topping him. 3. Will Ryu be able to avoid a doubling from a Noble 9 member once again and stand his ground against them, or his time to decrease and start being trampled upon finally come? Depends on who he faces. 4. If you had to predict a match that would be most controversial(think Kefka/Vercetti, Crono/Mario, etc)what would it be? Megas/Vincent! 5. What character will create the biggest upset of the contest? Vincent. 6. Who will be at the bottom of the x-stats? I want to say Bidoof, but he'll probably end up facing Snake in the first match and pulling off a Nidoran F. If he was on the opposite end of the bracket from Snake, he would definitely be at the bottom. 7. Who will be the better joke character if both of them make it. Bidoof or Matt the Mii? Matt. Not everybody knows about the Bidoof fad, but everyone knows about the Wii. 8. Finally, what character will gain the biggest boost, and which will gain the biggest decrease in strength? My bracket's have always been insane, this is nothing new. All this
means is that Snake is no doubt beating Ganondorf...probably with like

I can understand his logic behind Ganon/snake. basically that Gabon is
the strongest non-nobler and is nintendo, so prior to ssbb's release
ganon will be able to drain his fairweather ninty support. sure i dont

I'm more looking at the PS3 hate hurting Snake's MGS4 boost from last
year, and then looking at how Snake looked down to his 2k5 form against
Samus, and hoping that TP boost + slight SFF in Ganondorf's favor = a

Heh, maybe if Ganondorf had been in the SSBB trailer and did something
completely badass that had everyone talking (some uber final smash),
then carried on that momentum and had a completely wicked
role in TP (I'm talking being more to TP than Sephiroth was to FFVII).
But alas, Ganondorf was resorted to "Curses! Foiled again!" in TP. I
don't even know if I'd take Ganondorf over Vincent in a rematch right

People have no problem anticipating MGS4 while not caring about the PS3
in the same breath. PS3 hate isn't something that's going to have any

MGS4 seems to be immune to PS3 hate. It's still the second most
anticipated game on the site, behind only Brawl. Even the most vocal
PS3 haters admitted that MGS4 was the highlight of the E3 conferences.
Snake won't drop, and if he gets officially announced on the SSBB site
anytime before he faces a challenge, he'll probably get a bit of a

Why are so many people picking Raiden? I can't really think of any
advantage he'd have over Tidus, and most seem to agree that Midna >

No what? When discussing Midna's strength earlier, beating Tidus was where most people seemed to think she'd be. MGS2 and FFX both came out in the same year. Tidus and Raiden were both hated by a lot of people. The hate for both has died down. Raiden got the MGS4 trailer to boost him some, but FFX is the bigger game. Where's the logic for Raiden > Tidus? --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |

You never saw me say that I'd take Midna over Tidus. Nor would I take Raiden over Tidus. People seem to think that Tidus has totally fell off. He got SFF'd by Squall last year. Based on his last performance against Kirby, he's a solid midcarder at worse. It was the worst year for Snake because MGS3 came out after the
contest, as far as I'm concerned. And I don't think that Raiden would
get much of an MGS3 boost compared to Snake. Kirby didn't do much better against the Prince of Persia than he did against Tidus. I hope you're not forgetting about how inaccurate Bowser and Kirby are in 2k5. Tidus too is brought down by association. --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. Kirby didn't do much better against the Prince of Persia than he did

And don't forget that Kirby may have been fueled by being a 1-seed in
2k5, unless you think that Yuna boosted to Aeris's level simply off of

I mean, Tidus isn't a weak character or anything anyway, but there's enough reason to possibly suspect that Raiden would be the more popular of the two. Hey guys, what's all the fuss about? Zelda (2006c) VS Snake (2006c) Zelda has a strength of 41.02. Snake has a strength of 43.00. Snake wins with 52.30% of the vote!
