Well he was mentioned off hand in a Miyamoto interview stating he wasnt
gonna talk about Luigi and SMG cause he didnt wanna give anything
away...but that still doesnt mean he will be in or out...plus info like
that might not be revealed in time to make a difference for Luigi, he

Mewtwo beats Ness easily. I said this in the other topic: If Jigglypuff got in, her floor would be Ness. He gets all his strength from Super Smash Bros, and Jigglypuff also appeared in both games, in addition to the exposure from the TV Show. The only argument against that would be anti-votes, but I've never seen anybody actually HATE on her. Her role in the show was sparce, but generally people think of her as an amusing recurring character, which is why she made the games in the first place. Well, yeah, Pikachu is just a "dum yellow rat". He basically gets
everything bad about the series associated with him, whereas Mewtwo

you say SSBM gives them the bulk of their popularity, but we're not
entirely sure which the "SBB SFF" would lean to, and I like to believe

I'd pick Ness. I can see Ness rallied like heck amongst the Earthbound
community, I wouldn't underrate him. He could pull a surprise. And no one would anti-vote Ness. But perhaps they would anti-vote against pokemon... just a thought. I know it would be a dark horse but hey, at least a possibility. --- Still wondering if you're serious or not... |

What the hell is all this about Jigglypuff? Just because you aren't hated doesn't mean you are automatically liked.
Jigglypuff exudes indifference. Jigglypuff's floor being Ness is crazy.
Ness actually has fans of his own even if it stems from SSBM. I don't

Look at Kirby, and see how well he does. People LIKE her because she's a dum pink ball. Besides, that picture of her isn't particularly flattering. And ask any half-decent SSB player and they'll tell you that she's a force to be reckoned with in the right hands. |

The Pokemon anti-voters are generally just about it being "too kiddy", since they watched the show when they were younger and people are typically insecure. <_< Unlike Pikachu or Butterfree, who are nice cute Pokemon who fall in love and feel loyalty to their masters, Mewtwo is all about *Pokemon Movie Spoilers* destroying the world with an army of clones. I'm not going to argue about preferences; yeah, the tough-looking
guys are the more popular ones. But cute and cuddly has still proven to

I do a lot to support Ness, but I'd probably take Mewtwo over him.
Pokemon's fanbase is firmly above EB's, Mewtwo is more liked by the
Pokemon fanbase than Ness by the SSB fanbase, and -- though I think
most would say Ness is a better character in SSB/M than Mewtwo in SSBM

Also, about Ike: I never saw a picture of him before today's update on
SSBB and I've never played an FE game before, yet I nominated him. Why? 1) I figure he's still the best FE-rep when you ignore outside exposure like what Roy and Marth got. The SSBB site is also hardly going to do much for him outside of nominations... 2) ...speaking of which, I remember Ike doing well with nominations last year, so when I saw the update today and him already doing good in the rally-topic, I threw my hat in for the guy as well. That said, I don't see him beating Captain Falcon before SSBB comes out. Even then...maybe not. I just want to see how a mostly-pure FE character does. --- PETITION: a "Contest Suggestions" board. alright.... assuming this contest lets the Big 3 back in, we damn well
better be seeing a Samus/Seph match, or someone is going to be losing a
testicle (I'm looking at you Mr. Bacon), and you damn well better believe I'm taking Samus in that match. With that out of the way, with all the talk about getting decently strong contestants back into the contest, why isn't anyone talking about Shadow? I mean, I like him as a much as the next board 8er (not at all ! !), but I'm throwing my support his way regardless. As for the PoP, unfortunately it looks like he's not going to return, which really sucks, 'cause he totally could have won a match with all his support last year if it weren't for the female bracket sucking his seeding away. I'll never forgive ceej for that one. I still have 5 slots left to nominate too, and I have no clue who they're going to. Maybe I'll just whore 'em out for PoP noms. --- Explicit Content.
