Midna's going to do solid though. No Zelda or Ganon, that's pretty obvious, but she's going to be seen. If she can double Tingle,
she will already be around the Tidus's and Master Chief's of this site.
Considering that Midna is liked while Tingle is ridiculed and Tingle
comes from two of the most love/hate games in the LoZ series while
Midna comes from one of the most favored LoZ games -- not to mention
the newest -- and you have a solid case for Midna doing even better.
Nintendo's also even bigger than last year, too...so I'd take Midna to

Barring terribly tough draws (Ganon last year), three of them are
guaranteed to do so. Midna should round out the pack by doing decently

I can't see myself supporting that statement anytime, really. I think
Midna will end up being pretty good -- she won't be fodder -- but she
isn't going to be up there with Zelda after one game. She was liked,
sure, but not that
much. She'd probably get taken care of by a number of higher-up
Nintendo characters. I'm expecting something Tidus-ish from her, which

As it's been said, I really hope that we're getting a regular old 64
character contest, no gimmicks. But I'm not that optimistic,
considering the comments Ceej made about having a twist. Maybe if SB's

Probably not a popular sentiment around here, but I'm pegging Raiden right around Sub-Zero's range this year (can take someone like Master Chief, can put up respectable numbers against Auron). I do think we've got through something of a transition from back during 2003. Bitters tears have been shed over not being able to play as Snake in MGS2, and I think there's been something of an acceptance of Raiden in recent times.
