RE4 Wii Edition has ~135,000 after two weeks, according to early numbers. Not much, but something. Ha, just for kicks...we saw Mega Man > Sonic in the 2D-platformer poll, and now we're seeing Resident Evil > Mega Man in the Capcom poll... ...does anybody dare to take Resident Evil > Sonic though? Sonic's 3D games are actually worth something, so no. --- Rapid analysis, accurate judgment, and superb powers of concentration. That is all we need. |

Over Sonic? Probably not. I think Sonic's got a much stronger base than
Mega Man has. Mega Man's base I perceive to be a lot of people who love
the games, but have other favorites, too, and have eclectic tastes. I
see Sonic's base somewhat smaller, but far more obsessive. They LOVE

actually, I think it's the opposite. MM has a really strong core base,
but doesn't have much in the way of variety. I'd pick Sonic over Mega
Man just based on the fact that Sonic's actually been somewhat relevant

I'd side with tranny there. If nothing else, the 2D-platformer poll says Mega Man fans stay more loyal. Didn't the Sega president say a couple of months ago, "Yeah, we've been
whoring out Sonic. We'll stop that and let people who actually know
what they're doing make his games." As far as I'm concerned, Sonic games have ranged from horrible to
mediocre ever since his 3D debut. Hell the same thing applies to most
Mega Man games in that respect however. But I'm a big MML and MMX fan

I really like SA2:B, though I didn't like the little time I've put into SA1 or Sonic Heroes. Gonna stop whoring out Sonic? I'd love to see all three of them in the game...Sonic's the most likely, Mega Man's my wish, and Crono's probably the best fit. Imagine a match between SSBB and FF7 if Sonic, Crono and Mega Man all
get in. All 9 in one match pic with Cloud and Sephiroth winning against

This off-season has been so torturous that it has even taken Leonhart
as a casualty. It's the main reason why I don't really get tied up into
all the social ramblings of Board 8. A guy shouldn't feel the need to
have to leave an internet message board essentially about video game
character popularity for being a distraction of his personal life and
straying him off of his goals. But then again... I'd never take an

Sonic FTW 2008 character Battle! Seriously, there's no reason to believe that the Sonic RPG won't be a great game (Bioware can make excellent games), Sonic Rush Adventure and Mario & Sonic should give him another small boost. If he also is an playable character in SSBB then maybe Samus VS Sonic 3 will be one of the greatest matches to remember. --- Ngamer64: Zylo, you're making less sense every day. |

no Xenosaga and Katamari in the Namco poll is annoying. I was holding

Dammit, Leonhart... wrryyy!? ... whaddaya mean my reactions are way late? Does anyone in here have the nomination rally lists, by the way? Thank goodness for an update. Lord knows we needed one. That said, I really hope a Game Contest comes next spring. That would mark four years since the last one, and I think four years is plenty fair enough time to have a new Game Contest if he's looking out for mixing up the big guns on top. I was just thinking the other day, Mario Galaxies comes out early
November, which would be shortly before the latter part of the contest.
Let's say we have another TOC, with Mario/Sephiroth going at it in mid
